Vous connaissez déjà un des membres du trio, @mimmo_metabaron vous ajoutez les deux autres, Théodore et Antonin et vous obtenez donc DEPHT MOD qui tourne depuis un peu plus de deux ans sur les scènes du grand Ouest du Live88 au Jardin Moderne en passant par la pléthore de bars qui font la scène musicale actuelle.
Abonnés aux impros qui font la marque de leur style, pratiquant l'overdose de musiques synthétiques et de machines, ils s'apprêtent à sortir fin février leur second EP "Catch the Blue".
La track proposée ici, Danza Eterna, débute gentiment sur des sonorités presque italo-disco, mais très vite, on plonge dans une rythmique qui emprunte à l'EBM sa vitesse glaçante. Des contre rythmes animent la structure de la track pendant qu'une voix  robotisée et spectrale semblant surgir du fin fond d'un goulag épaule les envolées qui se font planantes.
Mais c'est vers les profondeurs que nous entraîne définitivement Danza Eterna. Préparez votre pièce en or, Charon s'apprête à vous faire traverser le Styx vers les Enfers. Mais croyez moi, ici, l'enfer est tout sauf brûlant, il développe plutôt les saveurs glaciales de la coldwave.

Composed with much improvisation, made up with 80s synthwave, industrial techno and italo disco, their hypnotic sound loops and harrowing voices have the smell of sweat and poetry. Inspired by Bataille, Baudelaire and Ballard amongst many others, these songs are talking about quests, desires, energies, meetings.

Inspired by Aldous Huxley's dystopian science fiction novel 'Brave New World', Alva Recek's Soma EP traces its theme of social hierarchy and control... where a world government tries to prevent its people from thinking and speaking freely with the use of a legal drug that is provided daily. To maintain the stability of their forcefully engineered world, authorities encourage the constant consumption of the drug Soma, ensuring the population remains passive and soothed. In the lives of the citizens, if anything should feel wrong, they have Soma to block stressful situations such as pain, grief and anger, and yet the user is completely normal, oblivious to any sort of negative side effects. Soma, supplied in its various strengths, is the perfectly tailored distraction.

The Soma EP outlines characteristics of four hypothetical variations... the softness of the white variety, the moderate dose of yellow, leading to the stronger concentration of orange and finally the ultimate effect of Soma red.

Alva Recek's roots trace back to golden era 80s & 90s hip hop and rave culture, significant backdrops to her progression from a young rapper to a dedicated producer working in numerous genres.
With past collaborations in electronica, jazz fusion and hip hop, and a track recently released on Bass Agenda, Alva comes immersed legit deep in heady electro for this debut EP.

Sasha Rajkovich, aka Zarkoff, member of Sumerian Fleet, NauGrau, FFFC, Kali jugend and other collaborations, has been active in underground music since the mid 90s. EBM, acid and electro are most frequently visited genres in his musical output, with occasional drifts into post punk or techno. He also likes to express himself through lyrics, influenced by the likes of Leonard Cohen, Philip K. Dick or Vladimir Mayakovskij.
For this new EP, he delivers four cold and melancholic synth-electro tracks, inspired by Old Testament and Gnostic teachings about the nature of the Demiurge. All the vocoded and speech synthethised lyrics are direct quotes from King James translation of the Holy Bible. No comments have been provided by the author, only musical context, so listeners will be free to interpret it however they want.

Rhadamanthe, 27 yo dj and producer from Orléans, France. Creator of Teewave Recors, and Label manager for ORGANÏK, I try to actively participate in the techno underground scene on a national and international scale. I try to push forward talent, and innovation, in order to grow the ecosystem of our scene. 

My track "One Last Sunset Over Jasper" is a hybrid track, mixing hardtrance, jungle rythm, acoustic guitar and dreamcore sonorities. I tried to crystallize the nostalgia and beauty of a sunset during summer, both puting my love and sorrow inside this track.
