Retro Belgica is a collaborative project between Belgian producers Peter Bellaert (known for his work under aliases like Minimalistix, NRGY, and Atlantis 6) and Koen Patteeuw (also known as DJ Yargo). The duo is deeply rooted in Belgium’s electronic dance music heritage and draws inspiration from the classic dance sounds of the 1990s.

Their music blends elements of hard dance, rave, techno, and hard trance with a modern twist. Retro Belgica is not only a production outfit but also operates under its label, Retro Belgica Records. The label specializes in reviving the nostalgic vibes of the 90s through original tracks, remixes, and DJ performances. Notable releases include tracks like "That’s the Sound", "Overdose", and "Right Now", which highlight their ability to merge retro influences with contemporary electronic elements.

Q-ic, also known as Luc Byltiauw, started his career as a sound engineer at the age of 15.  
Driven by his passion for audio, the path to electronic dance music was a natural way to follow.

Since 2003, Q-ic smashed the charts worldwide with productions on renowned labels such as Polydor, N.E.W.S., Universal Music, Panda Funk, Killaz, Ghoststyle, Zoo Records, ... and he claimed his place in the harddance scene.

His unique sound became his trademark, bringing something new and fresh to the audience. This resulted in a boost with approx. 200 gigs a year and in co-productions with artists such as Marco Remus, CJ Bolland, Axel Stephenson, DJ Bam Bam, Kamikaze, Coone, DJ Ghost, Lethal MG, ... only to new a few.

With performances at the biggest festivals out there such as Tomorrowland, Reverze, Nature One, Love Parade, I Love Techno, Defqon1, In Qontrol, Decibel Outdoor, Summerfestival, ... Q-ic knows how to entertain mass crowds!
