“Rearrange the universe to your own narcissistic desires” is not that different from “I think I’m a different gender, therefore I am.” Laughing at the absurdity of one while taking the other completely seriously just stands out as inconsistent. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for people not conforming to convention, but somewhere along the way, it has taken a turn into “the world must bend to my desires” instead. I can’t be the only one who noticed this cultural shift, right?
