Caliba born Gregory Jackson Sept. 8, 1983 in the Bronx,Ny is an up and coming rapper based in Charlotte,NC right now. I've been rapping since I was about 14 and I've been in the studio seriously since I was 18 yrs of age. I had a little buzz in the Bronx doing mixtapes with my partner Pistol. We appeared on Hot 97's Kay Slay's Drama Hour numerous times. In the yr. 2005 I released a mixtape hosted by Kay Slay called "CALIBA BRONX BOMBA". Due to an arrest my grind was put to a standstill, with me on Rikers Island for a yr. theres not much I could do. Now 2011, I own an entertainment label called GREEN LIIGHT ENT. and I'm coming for what should've been mine along time ago. I'm real hip hop, I call my genre EMO HIP HOP because every verse, song and hook comes from a real emotion. I represent the struggle not the ballers, you won't listen to my music and forget about whats really going on. I will be your constant reminder that hip-hop is more than a bunch of money,hot cars and bitches.
