Recorded in the early summer of 2022.  Fucking around playing some new tracks one day and thinking I may have something here, but wanted to take another pass at it. Well, that's not happening, so fuck it. It's OK! 

I hope you're OK. Seems lots of people are still struggling and if you are, it's OK. It's OK to not want to go out and be around people. It's OK to not be OK. But if I can do the smallest thing and share some music that might offer some relief, some lift in your heart - a clearing in your head, then that makes me happy. I hope you can see that one day soon the clouds will part, there will be great warm hugs, belly laughs and dancing. Its' hard to see sometimes, but it's there. It will come.

Krafty Kuts
Inspired by the hip-hop and electro sounds that were rocking his world, Martin first stepped behind a pair of decks when he entered a DJ competition and incredibly, as a complete novice, he made it all the way to the final. With his love affair for the wheels of steel well and truly cemented, Krafty Kuts set about learning his art, perfecting the cutting and scratching that was to become the core of his DJ sets.

It wasn't long before Krafty entered the studio, being signed to Ministry of Sound off-shoot FSUK in 1996. Remixes for the likes of Jurassic 5, Utah Saints & Eric B & Rakim soon followed, and in 2003 'Tricka Technology' was released alongside production partner A-Skillz on Finger Lickin' Records.

Kraftys tire-less work has seen him claim many prestigious awards. A stunning haul at Breakspoll 2007 saw him claiming Best Album for his debut long player ‘Freakshow’, Best DJ for a record third consecutive year and to cap it off, the richly deserved Outstanding Contribution to Breakbeat award that acknowledged his long journey to the acme of club culture.

A-Skillz

This man is a true party rocker! His headline slots for FabricLive, Chew The Fat and The Boutique to name but a few have catapulted A-Skillz into the mainstream and seen him play internationally at some of the worlds major events and festivals, including The Hit Factory (New York) and the WMC (Miami). His unique style of scratching and mixing, fusing funk, hip-hop, and breaks, has gained him many loyal fans and is now a regular contributor to Finger Lickin' Records following the huge success of 'Tricka Technology' (his debut album alongside production partner Krafty Kuts).

In 2005, Adams skills we transmitted across the airwaves with his mini-mix for Annie Mac that was later voted best mini-mix of the year, beating industry stalwarts such as Basement Jaxx & Scratch Perverts. This lead to his funktastic first mix album for Finger Lickin' 'Export 2' which is still flying off the shelves with its frenetic fuse of funk driven hip-hop and bass heavy breakbeat.

Jason Brown is Qdup, and has been making dance floors groove and butts move worldwide for over a decade. Now residing in Los Angeles, CA the Wasington DC area native brings DC Funk vibes along with West Coast Festival Sensibility to the dance floor. Qdup has had a steady string of acclaimed original releases with Washington, DC’s Fort Knox Recordings since 2013. (MD, USA). Late 2015 to 2016 saw Qdup join forces with longtime collaborator and label mate Steve Raskin of Fort Knox Five in a steady string of gigs performing their unique Four Deck Set. They’ve had a busy schedule with tours up on both coasts of the states, Colorado and Montana & have frequented Canada’s west coast BC and Alberta. Their touring included a festival run with Canadian favorite’s Shambhala (Salmo, Canada) & BassCoast (Merrit, Canada) and adding events like Sonic Bloom (CO), Northern Nights (CA, USA) and Burning Man (NV, USA). 
When not on tour, Qdup has played regularly at DC hot spots like Eighteenth Street Lounge, U-Street Music hall and Tropicalia where he along with Fort Knox Five have held their residency “Sao Funky” for 4 years. Qdup has also made the official promotional mix tapes for The DC Funk Parade 3 years running, further solidifying himself as one of DC’s most sought after party rockers. Since relocated to Los Angeles, Qdup has continued this trend frequently playing at some of LA’s best underground warehouse and festival venues.
