Duke Hugh, hip-hop producer/musician/alcoholic, is a master of flipping soul samples and turning them into golden-era-esque beats. It's awesome. I had to ask for a Marinate Mix. He says, "When I got home I got the decks and some vinyl out and just went with the flow hope you like it, it's a lot of different stuff." His mix is 40 minutes of chilled-out hip-hop jams from Common's "Interlude #3" to funky favorites like, Tom Browne's "Come for the Ride". Bomsbtrikes welcome the Fun Loving Aussie Bass Funkster Kenny Beeper to the label. Having Dj'd now for over 10 years on a weekly basis,  as well as producing his own tunes for many years, with a stack of ep's and success already under his belt, Kenny brings his signature style of Bass driven melodies, hard hitting drums with a funky edge to the Bombstrikes Family.

With his debut release for the label - 'The Crown Jewels Ep', Kenny shows off his style to full effect here with 3 diverse tracks of the highest quality. The title track heads straight for peak time dancefloor mayhem with it's familiar sounding flute refrain and sub bass madness. 'Funky Party People" heads more for the P-Funk esque style and does exactly what it says on the tin. Lastly, 'Let's Get ill' just oozes the funk on so many levels which shows why Kenny Beeper is one to watch out for.

(MD, USA). Late 2015 to 2016 saw Qdup join forces with longtime collaborator and label mate Steve Raskin of Fort Knox Five in a steady string of gigs performing their unique Four Deck Set. They’ve had a busy schedule with tours up on both coasts of the states, Colorado and Montana & have frequented Canada’s west coast BC and Alberta. Their touring included a festival run with Canadian favorite’s Shambhala (Salmo, Canada) & BassCoast (Merrit, Canada) and adding events like Sonic Bloom (CO), Northern Nights (CA, USA) and Burning Man (NV, USA). 
When not on tour, Qdup has played regularly at DC hot spots like Eighteenth Street Lounge, U-Street Music hall and Tropicalia where he along with Fort Knox Five have held their residency “Sao Funky” for 4 years. Qdup has also made the official promotional mix tapes for The DC Funk Parade 3 years running, further solidifying himself as one of DC’s most sought after party rockers. Since relocated to Los Angeles, Qdup has continued this trend frequently playing at some of LA’s best underground warehouse and festival venues.
