Trying to help people understand that they should learn to listen with a discerning ear & mind-to the types of musicians who've made & are producing music out of pure passion for this art form - unlike so many who ignore the effects it has on the minds & souls of people, as they put out mediocre mainstream junk trying to feed their own self-centered egos & greed.   Avoid as much "mainstream" music as possible!    I hope more artists will realize that their music & lyricism can be a way to share with listeners both the trauma & the vast range of emotions we experience as we struggle in this deceptive society. An artist's stories told through lyrics share valuable lessons & show that clarity is ultimately gained through surviving those hardships. When listeners relate to artists willing to share that depth of sincere honesty, it gives them hope & relief from pain worsened by thinking no one understands them, while it washes away that veil of fear, loss or apathy, revealing we all possess the ability to make positive changes.... It's a gift & a responsibility, when an artist is able to change a day, a mood or a life ! Music & lyrics are vital to all people. It's not just sound...it has physiological & psychological effects on all of us. What would life be without music and other art forms? I refuse to imagine & wouldn't want to live in that type of world! So I'm here--supporting & promoting the artists. Providing people with exposure to the history making musical legends & finding the new creative geniuses who affect our lives currently-in ways that we will later see as the 'friends' who were there for us daily, and in the future with profound reverence as the soundtrack to all of the milestones of our lives.
