The prolific Astral Haze is back yet again, this time teaming up with the atmospheric wonder Perspective:R. This EP has everything you would expect from this meeting of minds. Blast Shield starts the EP with twinkles of atmospherica, strings and chopped breakbeats as it builds into a swirling of journey of arpeggios, piano drops and bass stabs. Until Dawn continues the EP with a gentle intro, teasing the beauty that is to become as ethereal vocals and a multitude of melodies ebb and flow before it kicks in with rolling breaks and magical twinkles of graceful keys. Right Time keeps the atmospheric magic but ups the tempo with more upfront beats that propel the track forward, a perfect blend of musicality and dancefloor vibes. The EP closes with Anomaly, and what a fine way it is to end. Taking the sounds right back to the mid 90's they allow classic jungle edits and floating pads to take the listener to a world where they feel like they are floating with the pads themselves as angelic keys and stratospheric strings surround you. Astral Haze and Perspective:R have shown that they are a perfect team and we can't wait for them to join forces again.
