Age Of Computer Music

As I opened my eyes

I found myself surrounded

by gray walls.


The only sound

that of water nearby.


My sight nearly blinded

by a light of

 unknown origin.

I walk towards the edge and look.

To my left, a wall.

To my right, infinity.

In front of me, another wall.

Above me, infinity.

Below me, the water.

I can’t think straight, 

and don’t feel like I need to.

Mindfog

The room was quiet.


The soft sound of water

soothed me.

I was at ease.


The view from above,

and the knowledge of inf inity,

calmed me.

Yet, I knew 

there was more than this.

No Sound But Water

The walls were made of a strange and unknown material.

Created by a strange and unknown creator.

I realised I was trapped.

Yet, I didn't panic.

Antimatter

I could only stare
and let the light engulf me.

And while I stared,

I dreamed of home.

I dreamed of nature.

I dreamed of love.

I dreamed of all things 
I cared about.

And I was at peace.

Dreaming of Better Days

Dreaming Of Better Days

I realised I was entranced.

I felt nothing, but calm.

A voice inside me,

what was left of coherent thought,

told me this isn’t how I should feel.

So I scanned the room.

Looking for anything at all.

With Eyes Open

The back of the room was open,

 revealing more empty space

surrounding this alien structure.


But between me and inf inity,

was a staircase.

I didn’t know where it led.

I walked toward it.

What Lies Beyond

The staircase was massive.


I couldn’t see it’s end,

nor what supported it’s steps.


I knew nothing, but that my fate

lied at the end of it,

wherever that may be.


I took a deep breath,

and walked.

Into the infinite void.

I found inspiration in Philip Pullman's Northern Lights for this track, and specifically the sort of trance-like mindstate the main character enters when reading a device called "The Alethiometer" or truth-reader.

I really don't know what kind of music I make or how to categorize it for you. But, that doesn't really matter. I make music I believe in. I make music that tells a story. I make music that, hopefully, makes you feel good things. 

I love it when music is more than just the sound. Music is an experience that's never experienced in isolation. Everything around the music matters. So I try to make all the art myself, to really give you the best experience I can give.
