What started out as an exploration of self and music during the lockdown of 2020 led Dolenz to create Danko Crumb! A lot of the sounds on Danko Crumb were field recordings that he later filtered heavily to create the sonic landscape on the track!

About Dolenz

Growing up trading cassette tape copies of hip hop albums had a profound effect on the sound that Dolenz, aka Neil Andrew purveys. His love for saturated tape hiss is matched only by the faceless mystery of the artists that directed his sonic and visual persona from an earlyage.As a producer Dolenz first came into prominence with the release of his eight track EPHysteresis on Sonic Router Records in 2015,. The EP succeeded in introducing his retro-futuristic sound to the world, with Dolenz citing references as varied as Aldous Huxley to MFDoom.

Fast forward to early 2021 and Dolenz aligns himself with renowned hybrid rap label PotentFunk to release his experimental hip hop EP ‘Electric Fence’ featuring the vocals of label boss Dabbla and Manchester-based MC Black Josh.

Dolenz DJ sets are known to move seamlessly through genres and tempos, often turning the crowd on their heads and this eclecticism has led to him being enlisted to provide mixes for Hyponik, Solid Steel, NTS, Sounds Supreme to Dazed to name a few.

Dolenz - ACID MOB

‘Safire’ Plasma audio founder...originates from the world of drum and bass production, his latest cuts encompass a collation of new influences with several upcoming EP’s in the schedule for 2021, ranging from club based half time, lofi/soul inspired beats to drum and bass. 

'Landing' is the first drop from from the the upcoming EP, infusing a laid back lofi hip hop vibe with wonky bass music thats designed to be on repeat in the lounge, setting the tone for an exciting new canvas of exploration for Safire. The first single ‘Landing’ drops March 26th 2021 accompanied by hand drawn illustration from Akane Ito from QQQ design.

Slin has always tried to explore when creating music and just like all of his other projects, this one too is a fresh adventure.

The vocal in the first track 'Any Op' says "any op I see they getting bored or something bwoy". Commentary on bored police harassing innocent people for no reason instead of dealing with actual crime. It definitely is a dark creeper that was built to rattle rib cages.

‘Distant Train’ is a grimey roller with a continuous distant train sound in the background, adding to the eeriness. 

Watch your step when you bang this one out loud!

ABOUT SLIN

SLIN is one of the best-known names and one of the pioneers in Estonian bass/dubstep music. He started his journey of music back in 2004 (at age 14) when Quarah (Siege Kru) invited him to try spin records at his house. The first styles
were drum & bass and ragga jungle. 

Slin has performed all over in Estonia and in various cities abroad, such as Helsinki
(Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), Malmö (Sweden), St Petersburg (Russia),
Riga (Latvia), Copenhagen (Denmark), London (UK), Leicester (UK) and various cities in China.

His bag is always full of unreleased material from the best-known
acts and his sets crystal clear. He is one of the heads of 'DUBSHACK' the
longest-running dubstep event in Estonia and the founder of the former
DUBSTEP.EE alongside Siege Kru.

Kicking into 2021, ALL ON BLACK EP brings the first chapter of PAV4N’s odyssey to a close.   Inviting some serious talent to re-interpret of his fire so far, PAV4N unleashes a section of bass weight, culture heave reinterpretations of his last few releases.

 ’98 style Jungle/ D&B flip of ALL ON BLACK fom Fixate  Indian Classical Dubwise 140 flip from the don of textures, Kromestar Epic strings and heavy Bassweight stepping collide on Hebbe’s rework of STASIS Indian multi genre producers stars Yung Raj and Nate08 160 footwork/jungle take on the track that started it all, KARMA  After a tumultuous 2020, with it’s obvious lows and soaring highs with collars with Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Example & MUZZ (Monstercat) to unleashing DOOM & 2020 FE FEAD to the world with Sukh Knight, PAV4N has a battle plan for 2021 that is embedded in this EP.   Following the digital release and video on 5th Feb, a super limited, deluxe vinyl release on heavyweight, specially designed, 180g vinyl is due. 
PAV4N is a founder member of Foreign Beggars. Name checked at the Grammys, playing every major festival there is and hitting the UK Top Ten charts, PAV4N has been responsible for introducing wave after wave of underground music onto the world. After the highly influential multi-genre group parted ways at the end of 2019, he blasted back into view with his prolific solo project, which he describes as “A living art piece - the reality of forging a unique path in music, art and the life of a perpetual foreigner”

I really don't know what kind of music I make or how to categorize it for you. But, that doesn't really matter. I make music I believe in. I make music that tells a story. I make music that, hopefully, makes you feel good things. 

I love it when music is more than just the sound. Music is an experience that's never experienced in isolation. Everything around the music matters. So I try to make all the art myself, to really give you the best experience I can give.
