Qualista dedicates its second compilation VA to Olympos (the home of gods), the ancient capital city of Lycia which is located in the south west of Antalya. 

The ruins date back to hellenistic era approximately 300 BC. Cicero describes Olympos as a city full of wealth and art.
Olympos is not only a city and a mountain but also home to Chimera a mythical creature with the head of a lion, the body of a goat, and the tail of a snake. 


The coast around Olympos is one of the loveliest spots in all of Turkey and home to a wide range of flora and fauna.
Qualista aims to introduce its environment and cultural heritage to the world through music under the name of ‘Stairs to Olympos’ as a social responsibility.

December has gained golden colors thanks to ‘My Soul', released on Art Vibes. A magnificent EP of three impressive tracks making us travel and dance introspectively in a very special way.
Courtesy of Ukrainian producer Jean Vayat and American singer / producer Evelynka, ‘My Soul' takes us into a sphere of dance and reflection through powerful synthesizers and progressive beats. The beats go hand in hand with Evelynka's spatial vocals, guiding us to a place where calm turns into euphoria.

Spanish producer Yamil joins Art Vibes with his own take on ‘My Soul' where the minimalist kick and percussions give the track another personality. Keeping the narrative characteristics of the original piece, this remix ends up landing on a foamy drop, with glass bubbles and uplifting chime landscapes spinning around our ears. Try it for yourself!

Closing off the EP, Artaria's remix of ‘My Soul' is an explosion of intricate sound synthesis, restless percussion, reverberation and electric shocks that are impossible not to dance to. All this precedes an unexpected drop, uniting the rhythmic aesthetics of eighties techno with the energy of trance and its distinctive synthesizers.

This release is one more example of the diversity Art Vibes is aiming for when producing music. The three tracks stem from the same place but feature completely different aesthetics.

'Almost half a year after the album release and two months after its vinyl release, it’s time for a remix collection of the ‘Echoes’ album by Pelace. The purpose behind the remixes was to connect electronica with the modern-day melodic techno. It became a great selection of which Fat Cosmoe, Precursor, Hollt, Aalson and Convolute return to the label. Besides, Kimman and Ikaro Grati are making their debut.

Aalson's interpretation of ‘Pushing You Away’ represents the emotional part of the collection. After Starting off very timid, the track unfolds itself into a sophisticated play of intriguing and floating elements, which are giving more and more during the track.'

German artist René Diehl has made an impressive debut on Inner Symphony with his EP, "Feather" This release features two beautiful and emotionally captivating tracks that showcase René's incredible talent for pinpointing moods and creating a unique soundscape.

The EP opens with the title track, "Feather" which immediately grabs the listener's attention by pairing dynamic percussion with subtle, evolving tones. This track sets the tone for the rest of the EP and immediately establishes René's skill as a musician. The second track, "Quartz" is equally impressive and instantly creates a feeling of melancholy with its minimal opening notes. René's ability to convey a range of emotions with minimal instrumentation is truly remarkable. The layers of bass, percussion, and synths in this track, as well as in the title track, combine to build a compelling energy that keeps the listener engaged throughout the entire EP.

René Diehl's "Feather" EP is a standout release that showcases his incredible talent as a musician and producer. It's definitely one to watch and with subsequent releases, we're sure that he will have a bright future ahead.

Hailing from one of Europe's historical hot beds for electronic music, Valencia, Upercent makes his well deserved return to KX. Electronic music culture runs deep in his hometown. Barraca, with 50 years of age one of the world's longest running clubs was instrumental in developing what later on became the global phenomenon called Balearic Disco, one of the blueprints for modern clubbing as we know it. Upercent's take on house music is shaped by his unorthodox use of classical instruments and a deep understanding of groove. His new double header for Kompakt's offshoot KX once again proves Upercent's knack for highly infectious hooks and elegant story-telling. Both "Ocell" and "Explota" are fine examples of his tremendous skills in creating state of the art club music with depth and vigor.

For his first EP of 2020, Brian Cid returns to his Endangered imprint with Be One; 4 powerful tracks flowing seamlessly between melodic techno & progressive house.

Last year saw Brian Cid continue the development of his Endangered label with the release of his Light In The Lotus EP, the signing of upcoming talent from all over the world, the launch of a new VA series, and label-branded events held everywhere from Brooklyn & Miami, to Canada, India, and The Dominican Republic.  After a recent EP on Audiofly’s Supernature label, and a remix on Fur Coat’s Odd:ity, Brian is back on his own creative outlet with Be One. 

“Monocerotis” is the first track on the release, and starts it off with a brooding techno vibe.  Multiple listens are required to decipher the brilliant layering of sounds weaving in & out, leading to a tension-building breakdown, and supported with a foundation of subtle tribal drums.  The journey continues on more of a progressive tip with the second track, “Cometas Y Cometas”.  As with all of Brian’s releases, a story is being told, and in this chapter the listener is made to feel like they’re floating to the next destination with the dreamy vibe created here.

Following is the title track “Be One”, which is the origin of the concept behind the project.  Brian explains: “After experiencing a deep travel in my worlds within, I became One. One with my energy & sounds. Vibrations. On this journey, we are taking a ride where the atmosphere opens up as broken sky, and the rhythms of the land breathe deep in your body. A healing shower of sounds with a live, analogue and digital feel; a sea of possibilities”. “Fill The Void” is the finale, and this story ends with a banger.  Driving melodic techno, combined with synth work bouncing back & forth; this is Brian Cid at his deepest & darkest.

A groove that sends the soul flying through the aural version of an alpine valley - and a voice that streams through this soundscape like the liquid gold of a sun climbing over the dramatic mountain peaks: That’s "My Way", a track in which the musical talents of Mollono.Bass and I Am Halo add up to something that is simply unique. Now this outstanding piece of contemporary dance music is being re-interpreted by three remarkably talented producers: The first remix presents itself as a powerful melodic stream full of elegant undulations that are unmistakably the work of @einmusik. The second version comes from @matan-caspi who positions I Am Halo on top of his rolling rhythms and wraps his voice into luminous ribbons of harmony. Last but not least there’s the @p-ursin remix that is best described as a prime example of reduced-to-the-max dancefloor efficiency.
