Jochem Hamerling has been immersed in music all his life and was so taken with House music that he moved from his native Netherlands to Chicago at age 17, taking inspiration from the likes of Derrick Carter and Paul Johnson. Since then, the Dutch talent has established himself as a skilled producer with an impressive back catalogue on labels like Be One, Armada, and CR2 Records, as well as a tastemaking DJ through his weekly Boom Room show on SLAM! Radio. Following a string of singles for Junior Jack’s Adesso Music, Hamerling returns with an expansive four-tracker channelling inspiration from the Scottish whisky regions.

The fantastic 'Speyside' kicks off with slinky and stripped-back deep house beats that are brought to life with twirling keys and warming synths that rise and fall to brain-soothing effect. The deep and dusty 'Islay' then comes on with heavier kicks and plunging bass that drives down low beneath hooky vocal stabs and airy hi-hats which will prove irresistible to dancers. 'Highlands' is another majestic track lit up with deft synths - some rise up through the mix, some are balmy cosmic smears, and all of them bring rueful emotions that really hook you in next to the wordless vocal coos. Last of all is 'Lowlands', which has a more gritty edge thanks to the raw hi-hats and chunky tech drums. It's another bass-heavy cut that is tipped with Spanish vocals that bring fresh summer heat.

This is our last collaboration with our friend from Germany Multi Tul. We went a bit deeper with that one and explored '' the abyss '' of dark psychedelic techno realm (almost reached psytrance!)

Everything we know and we do in the universe is the result of countless complex reactions happening as much in the quantic level of reality as in our own realm of reality. These cause and effect processes are the product of a dual conception of gravity that previously were though to be incompatible, but are now on their way to being unified into one all encompassing theory that we can call Quantaloop. 

Quantaloop is the collaboration of two minds, Pasquale De Luca and Étienne Sarrazin. Together they explore the concept of storytelling through the cyclic progression of psychedelic techno. Their mission is to bring the auditor into a different world staged by sensations of physical quantum traveling. Elusive and twisted motives meet hypnotic ornamentation all surrounded by time morphing atmospheres. All of this to pull the listener into their quantic orbit.

Tout, de l'infiniment grand aux infimes particules, est en constante interaction. Tout ce que nous savons de l'univers et tout ce que nous y faisons découlent d'une multitude de réactions complexes tant au niveau quantique qu'à l'échelle de notre réalité. Notre mission est de faire vivre à l'auditeur une expérience qui le mènera à un monde (son monde) organisé sous forme de chapitres musicaux illusoires et en fusion, orné de modèles hypnotiques et fractaux, entouré de particules étirées dans le temps, et d'ainsi lui procurer les sensations d'un voyage dans l’univers de la physique quantique.
