Sumosui is a lifetime global music researcher, archiver, deep digger,
obsessive collector, record dealer, DJ and producer. He has an unflinching dedication to the
unearthing and acquisition of aural splendour. He has toiled endlessly to rediscover, reimagine,
re-edit, restore and share these dynamite gems, and sonic mind spells.
When not time traveling, you will find Sumosui obsessively researching and mining for vintage
Afro Disco, Nigerian Boogie, Electro Soca, Gwo Ka, Synth Funana, Compas, Caribbean funk &
Tropical synth rarities from the world over.
2018 has been very busy for Sumosui, playing venues from Bali to Reunion Island.
The early 2018 EU Spring tour saw him playing all through Slovenia, France & UK.
After a small hiatus in East Africa, he has now returned for a lengthy summer tour of festivals,
club sets and radio shows through UK, France, Switzerland, Ibiza, Portugal, Poland, Germany &
Croatia.
