DJ KEMIT is also internationally known for his production work as one-half of KemeticJust. Within a year of joining forces, he and Justin Chapman, aka Just One, had their first release, picked up by King Street,one of the worlds biggest house music labels in 2014 courtesy of house music legend Lil Louis.

KemeticJust continued with two dozen releases on labels such as Nite Grooves, Yoruba Records, Giant Step, Diaspora Recordings, Wave Music, Bombay Records and Play Records that are still praised within the underground house music scene. KemeticJust's trademark deeper-than-deep sound is made of lush, moody instrumentation that blends with airy acoustic guitar licks, beautiful melodies and ethereal, sweet vocals. Think Larry Heard sensitivity with more dancefloor kick.

How did DJ KEMIT land such massive talent for his debut? His penchant for impeccably crafted songs and honouring his collaborators genius, a constant refrain from any artist he's worked with.

While EVERLASTING recently has taken center stage, DJ KEMIT has long been a sought-after producer for remixes such as Still by ERRO, On the Beach by Leon Ware, and the 4Evermore remix for David's EP Location, Location, Location.

Those who know house music history remember Doug Lazy as one of the pioneers of Hip-House with certified bangers like "Let It Roll" and "Let The Rhythm Pump" from the early 90s. Some of you may remember we released the pumping "Church Clap" featuring Doug and Deborah Bond last year that immediately put him back on the minds of music lovers around the world!

So, super-fresh off the studio desk is the most hypnotically infectious Doug Lazy record yet and it is absolutely PERFECT for programming at the height of the night. It's the right title and right rap on the right beat at the right time. The bass-line lures you in right from the start, followed by the naggingly catchy horn riff. Then Doug kicks in with his most insidious and freaky rap yet. If we had to describe we'd call it “psychedelic hip-house” because that's the effect it will weave on the dance-floor.

As usual we've supplied a plethora of different mixes from Mr. V, DJ Spen, Thommy Davis, and Melvin Gentry we'd implore you to listen to all of them because there really is something for everyone in this remix package.
