We Are The Brave is now a label firmly on the electronic music map, with the huge success of its debut single “We Do What We Want” from Alan himself, they have since followed up with a selection of dance floor beasts from Boxia, Darius Syrossian, Skober and a special remix from the late Trevino.

The labels 10th release comes straight out of Scotland, as Gary Beck makes his debut on WATB with “Just One More”. Gary is no stranger when it comes to producing true underground techno, but the title track on this release is also accompanied with a standout vocal which some might not expect.

Finishing off the package “Round My Place” has a mechanical vibe to it, powering some dark eerie synth horns with a distinctive, clever hook in classic Gary Beck style. Alan has been hammering this one out in his sets since April, safe to say its been a hit!

This page is dedicated to just really good music. Been engulfed in electronic music for the past 15 years, covering tech/deep house, breaks and just about any genre that moves me. I have recently gotten involved in the creation of music after coming to the conclusion that I have something to add to the scene. I am not very moved by the dub-step movement. I like my music with quality involved. I want my tracks to resonate for years with you, not just bounce off of you and become lost in the piles of music. You will find me often submerged in Ableton LIve 9 shifting and tweaking frequencies of synthesizers trying to find that layer of sound that just moves the mind and amazes. There are not many sounds that move me but when it's right, it's right!

Working off of a solid workstation, running Hackintosh Mac OSX 10.9.5, liquid cooled, Intel i7 2700K, 32GB DDR3 RAM, Intel 540S SSD 240GB (480MBPs Read speed, 450MBPs Write speed), AMD Radeon 6870, Alesis QX49 MIDI controller, Ableton LIve 9.1.5 64 bit, Logic Pro X, a massive array of VST plugins and audio components. This system has proven to be a beast! Overclocked to 4.9GHz and running stable for over a year! My computer is my life and it runs like nitroethane.

So you will find here mixes, tracks by me and other tracks that I have found to be very interesting. I have learned over the years that it is not about the genre, it is about the production quality. I don't care if the genre is death metal or country, the production quality is all that counts. I am particularly focused on energetic/genius production tracks that inspire and progress the boundaries.
