Satchel Of Doom Project was started in 2015 by Free Radical Records label owner Sacha Michael .. tracks are now flowing in 2017 and will be released on the label in the near future on upcoming releases 25 for life and free ranged radicals , Satchel has been involved in the trance scene since 1995 in the early days of south African underground goa trance scene and  has been alien safari resident DJ for many of the early years . branching away from alien started mushroom mafia with and after 2003 eclipse relocated in Europe and established free radical records 10 years ago this year .. the future of the label and the project are always evolving and ultimately bringing the best Psychedelic Techno available from across the globe to you , both these projects Satchel and Free Radical have been spawned from the love of the music and have always been handled with the utmost love and passion , this will continue undoubtedly for as long as he is able , tracks from both the label and it artists can be found on these links :

Quark Flavour Strange is one half of LCD Influence, Ryan Dick. In the short time that LCD was in existence they enjoyed considerable success releasing there debut album Will Eat Your Sandwiches which at the time of writing has been downloaded over 35 000 times from Brakpan to Budapest and from Rivonia to Russia! 

Though LCD Influence is not entirely dead with some South African dates still to fulfil, a physical release coming out soon and the prospect of some International tour dates in the pipeline for 2011, the urge to break away from the LCD Influences distinct style became too great. The need to experiment with higher BPMs, the desire to create more intensity in leads and the unrelenting need to do something riskier and stranger was just to great!

Quark Flavour Strange is not something completely different from LCD Influence but rather a evolution. Though a hardened LCD fan will recognise some similarities(The sense of fun and humour, the catchy leads and the ever evolving sonic landscape) they will also be thrilled by the depth and greater complexity as well as the harder edge that is Quark Flavour Strange.

this music is a blend of intricate, experimental beats and dark, atmospheric soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from the chaotic yet harmonious rhythms of nature and the abstract patterns of the mind, the project seeks to create a deep, introspective experience. The fusion of high-energy basslines, distorted synths, and complex percussive elements forms the core, aiming to transcend the traditional confines of psy trance and delve into uncharted sonic territories.

BIO

When you truly love music you can’t live without it. It is with you when you wake, when you sleep and in all that you do. It becomes a central part of your being, an extension of your mind and body. For Level D, this intense, all consuming and sometimes maddening devotion to music brought him to one logical conclusion- he would share his unique songs and sounds in order to inspire the creativity and awakening of others.

Level D started his journey into music in his youth and as he mastered instruments such as guitar and keyboard he realised he was able to channel his own sound, thoughts and emotions into the melodies he created. Curious to expand his musical range and knowledge Level D began to explore electronic methods to create new sounds and so, he moved from traditional formats into the world of trance. Over time he felt more at home with electronic mediums but grew restless of the restrictive nature of trance. Slowly but surely he stepped outside of the “norm” and into the world of psytrance. 

It is now in this world of psytrance that Level D remains, creating far off lands, unique characters and astounding adventures to share with his fellow travellers.
With joyous highs, breathtaking atmospheres, sinister sounds and peculiar characters, Level D will take you to another level and beyond, into another world.
