Third cover "Heartbeats" is offered by American indie rock band Stray Fossa composed of Nick and Will Evans and Zach Blount. Layered over a pulsing, nocturnal beat with interspersed live guitar and bass, the vocals are a shoegaze take on Dreijer's edgy original. Fans of the superb original by The Knife and José Gonzáles' cover may hear elements of each. With their next record, shaping up to be more electronic and beat driven than the first, this project offers a little preview of what's to come.
