Sonically this is unmistakably 'The Soviet Union', a bouncing, driving techno-disco workout, replete with chunky italo basslines, syncopated breakbeats, and distant voices evoking cold-war.

Complete with 'Von Leen-Hammer's' chunky re-work 'Ikronoklast' will be released this summer on brand new Qubicle Records.

Mundo D - Land Of The Lost

Summer heat is here and with it the eighth installment of Duro’s international groove compilation "Muy Duro". For this volumen the Mexican record label dig music from Lithuania's Monk Ernie, a seductive collaboration between Time To Sleep & Local Suicide. The first manifestation from Israeli, Ido Morali. The debut of Moisees & ZEA in the VA series, and to close the compilation, a collaboration from TAU’s duo, Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze.

The opener is "Canned Shoes" by Monk Ernie, a fresh and vigorous cut with a rogue percussion section, a big funky bass line, a melting electric guitar, wacky arpeggio synthesizers and cooling pads. It’s followed by "I Unfollow", the collaboration between the Croatian Time To Sleep and Berlin based lovely duo, Local Suicide. Seductive melodies, tight drums and phantasmagoric voices lead you through the whole track. From Israel comes Ido Morali with "Mondo3000", a pushing bass kick blended with dozed vocoders and acid sound that sweeps the reality expansion into a hypnotic experience.

Next up is "Wasen" by Moisees and ZEA, a track inspired by DMT trips and Japanese fishing boats. A Strong and mind-blowing cut, oriental instruments, psychedelic synthesizers, and rumble drums drive you to the zurna's break. To close the compilation is "Error 707" by Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze, an epic cut manufactured with powerful drums and beautiful synthesizers, an electric shocks rain.

The ability to capture emotion in the tracks of Cannibal Coconuts is perfectly reflected in his latest work for Espacio Cielo. "Above the End" is a clear example of this, in which melancholic synths are mixed with psychedelic arpeggios, vocals providing tension and a sharp bassline that sets the groove. Stargate, as its name indicates, transports us to the cosmos with an exquisite "space disco", while "Haaaarp" shows off some intense pads and a perfect bass to hypnotize us late at night.  The Spanish producer, also known as Dubman F. -in his most "minimal" facet-   consolidates his new alias to unleash his most cosmic concerns.

The new release on ILUNA arrives with strength from Y.Y, an artist who blends raw minimalism with hypnotic groove in a three-track EP that perfectly captures the label’s dark and elegant essence. Each cut offers a different mood for the dancefloor, always rooted in an unmistakably underground identity.

Maxzim returns with a solid two-track release.
