Our founder, Na'Tashia Vance, is the owner, founder, and original poet with EBIP, LLC. She acquired strength through adversity, creating positivity from negative experiences. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, she was raised in the Chouteau Projects as a teenager. Throughout her life, she experienced negative relationships and troubles at home, but she was inspired and given strength by her mother, who encouraged her to move forward. Instead of accepting her current situation, she made it her mission to create a better life. She graduated college in 2006, receiving an Associates of Applied Science Degree for Medical Billing and Coding from the High Tech Institute College in Kansas City. Today, she still works in the healthcare field and enjoys writing, journaling, and performing in her free time. She also has two beautiful children, her son, Elmoni, and her daughter, Da'Mya.

What gave our founder solace during challenging times was her poetry, which she used to heal and handle the negativity that surrounded her. By creating a fashion line, writing books, and staging performances, she has proven that despite a negative situation, the sun still shines. Our founder believes entertainment and poetry has cleared up the storm clouds of her younger life, and now Na'Tashia and the entire EBIP team hopes our work will help someone else. We believe that it's not where you come from that determines your future—it's what you do with the experiences that define you!
