My name is Jules. I love music and I’m a producer from Albany NY. The relationship I have with music started in the womb. Being that my dad is a musician with my mom as his biggest supporter, I was always around it; even before I knew what music was. Even though my father was a big fan of George Clinton and funk music, I was a kid in the 90’s so naturally I gravitated towards hip hop. I love many different genres of music but because of the ever changing landscape, rap/hip hop will always be one of my favorites. I feel like something that separates me from other producers is my approach. While I do make music for the modern era, I’ve never been the guy trying to chase the wave. I don’t believe that great sound is achieved by being cookie cutter. You have to be willing to take a chance on something that might be unusual. You have to make music that truly feels good. Music that can paint a picture and take you on a journey. This is my aim in being a producer.
