We present to you an exclusive premiere from Powerhouse bossman Lucid, leading to the first official release on the Powerhouse label on the 30th of May.

Lucid has been producing techno for 4 years and arsing around with hardware under various Industrial and Power Electronics guises for almost 10 years, but it's only now that his tracks of rancid Dark Room Body Music are seeing an official release which will be the first release on the notorious Powerhouse club night's in-house label. 

The 3 track EP serves as a solid/sordid example of the sound he has become known for - funky acidic basslines, murky atmospheres, lashings of space echo delay, stomping kicks and clanging cymbals to soundtrack your descent into abject inebriation and perverse ecstasy during those long nights that we all love so hard.

Crystal Geometry has made a huge impact on several spheres of electronic music. The project of French artist Maxime Fabre, he infuses elements of techno, rave, EBM, punk, industrial and black metal to create something that can dominate any dance floor while also sending powerful and often subversive political messages as well. He stormed onto the scene with captivating releases on labels like Area Z and RND. and this year saw the release of the full length masterpiece Senestre, a 2xLP on none other than Sonic Groove.

Codec Recordings Unleashes Codec Volume 2, their second Various Artists compilation.
The second Various Artists compilation on Codec Recordings features a range of hypnotic and raw techno from 8 different artists from all over the world.
Kicking off the compilation is Omnia by Russian producer Annabiosis, who starts strong with an acidic track composed of icy pads and deep percussion.
Gestur brings a high energy, raw track with moody chords and huge rumbles resembling that of a banger from the 90s.
Next in line is Camouflage by Linear Phase, a Barcelona based artist who’s seen releases on labels such as Suara Music and Smashead records. He delivers a driving and raw tune with a no nonsense attitude.
The peak-time force continues on DAC Disaster by Random Sequence, a producer from Poland whose previous works have been featured on labels such as Korpus 9 and Devotion Records.
Road Agents presents a hypnotic and percussion oriented song accompanied by droning pads and off kilter rhythms.
Systematic Research, also known by his other alias “ASKE” gives us the track Planetary Scan, filled with rumbling basses, sci-fi bleeps, and ethereal pads.
Recurring artist Von Rausch finishes strong with the track Tensor, featuring large ambience, a biting polyrhythmic groove, and powerful bass to tie it all together.
