Quena.K is a pop music creator blending the organic sound of the quena with DAW’s
electronic elements.

In early 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Quena.K-both a music creator and quena player-composed the track "en" for collaboration among music enthusiasts from the music community "Kuraha Records (Temporary)" formed on the audio-based SNS platform, Clubhouse.
 
 At that time, the collaboration involved a total of 15 members, and the track was completed. However, it was not officially released and remained shared only within the SNS community.
 
 For this release, Quena.K teamed up with two original collaborators: lyricist and backing vocalist Mayuko Fukuda and bassist Masahiko Shimaji, who also designed the jacket artwork. Joining them for this 2nd edition remake are new contributors: lead vocalist Naco, a singer based in Sendai, and Shinsuke Yamada, a singer-songwriter from Yamagata, providing male chorus vocals.
 
 Despite working remotely, exchanging data, and layering sounds together, the joy of co-creating and the inherent value of creativity itself are captured in this song!

As a quena flute player and producer, Quena.K embraces a 'borderless' approach to music, seamlessly blending pop and EDM structures with elements of Asian music. This unique fusion results in a refreshing and harmonious sound that transcends language barriers and defies traditional genre classifications.
