Entrepreneur, Artist and Owner of Xolotl records, Xolotl also know as Marz was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His single mother immigrated from Mexico and worked multiple jobs to provide. Having no supervision gave him room to grow freely but also left him with time that he would spend with the neighborhood kids getting into trouble. One day his older brother taught him how to pirate music making programs known as DAWs using torrents and at the age of 14 he began composing instrumentals. After getting expelled and transferring between schools he decided to drop out and began working jobs to help pay bills soon becoming dissatisfied with those jobs he quit to pursue more lucrative opportunities using the profits to invest in his real interest, music.
