This is a recording from my set at this years  WA Regional Burn -  Blazing Swan, where we did a Solouk takeover in the infamous God Said No tent, Sunday night after the Temple Burn.  I played 3-4.30am.  It's always a night to remember in God Said No, and this was no exception.  The place was rammed and the vibes were high! :)  Thanks to all who stayed up into the early hours and danced with me <3

GirlLondon // Blazing Swan Solouk Takeover - God Said No // April 2023(m)

Recorded Live at the Bali Spirit Festival Gala Opening Party on May 3, 2023, at the Yoga Barn in Ubud Bali.

As soon as the Traditional Balinese Music and Dance were complete, I began to get the party going with some slow Balinese remixes while the crowd of government officials that were attending the ceremonial opening found their way out of the venue as the Ubud dancers and festival goers found their way to the dance floor. A beautiful mix of cultures.

Then we had a blast with some high-vibe music and sweet togetherness! 

In this set, I played what came to mind and had fun mixing on the spot without any plan to begin with. With that, there are a few messy spots, though mostly it was just fun! and more so a lot of magical moments and mixes came together that I couldn’t have planned. You can hear for yourself!

This set is a blend of music from around the world including upbeat funk, house, spiritual downtempo, Latin grooves, hip hop remixes and deep bass. 

There were a few hundred people throughout the night and we all got down together to start the Bali Spirit Festival off in a big way.

NEKTARIOS is about experimentation and sound design that pushes the boundaries of the norm—funky, deep, and driving, always striving to move the envelope forward and seeking new ways of expression. He has made various releases on multiple labels and recently signed with Sangoma Records. His first album, set for release in 2025, will be out on Sangoma, with much more collaboration material on the way featuring some of Sangoma’s finest.
