Denver's finest, Whirling Dervish celebrated NYD 2022 with a special 14-hour "Warehouse Experience", with Sasha's iconic label (Last Night On Earth) showcase, featuring extended sets from special guest & label friend Quivver, plus Hallucienda/All Day I Dream mainstay Öona Dahl. 

Whirling Dervish Productions has produced underground electronic dance events for discerning music and live performance aficionados in Denver for over 5 years. A collaboration between The Brown Elvis Presents and Mental of the Fantastic Hosts, Whirling Dervish came together out of the need for higher quality underground music experiences in the Denver area.

I played at the 909 UK afterparty for the second year in a row, following a fantastic masterclass by my bro Henry Saiz on the terrace. 
This time, I had the chance to create a set where I could freely express myself without any restrictions or trends. 

But the most special thing is that I was able to play for an audience that understood and shared the same tastes as I have for decades. 

With over 30 years of experience listening to electronic music, I put together a journey of almost four hours that includes both old memories and modern tracks. 
I hope you can also reminisce about those moments with this set, which I believe is my best one yet.

Few DJs capture the imagination of prog punters like Australia’s Anthony Pappa. Known for his technical proficiency and ability to mix tracks with surgical precision, he is a generational talent who rightfully became a pivotal scene figure.

With a sound rooted in darker, rebellious tones, he fully embodied the underground at a time when the term still held weight.

Achieving what Pappa did requires a life filled with experiences. Given the way social media, marketing, and promotion have transformed the scene, his story is unlikely to be replicated.
