In my Montreal workshop, wood and music go hand in hand. Each piece of furniture I craft tells a story, shaped by the natural beauty of the materials and the sounds that guide my hands. Jazz, blues, and instrumental rhythms fill my studio, turning every project into a creative journey. From the grain of the wood to the final touch, music is the constant that fuels my passion for creating exclusive, one-of-a-kind furniture. This is how I recharge through sound, letting it further shape the art of woodworking and breathe life into each of my creations.

I’m Tane Carrick, a Wellington-based storyteller with a camera always in hand. Whether I’m capturing the raw beauty of New Zealand’s landscapes or the untold stories of its people, music is my companion, setting the tone for every adventure. From deep, ambient tracks to the soaring energy of alternative rock, I find inspiration in the sounds that reflect the world around me. Let’s explore the connection between music, nature, and the stories that shape our lives.
