Ruben Mandolini – Deeper
Ruben Mandolini creates a straight but deep house number with an absorbing bassline and sweet vocals.
Again, Ruben proves his unique high energy house style.

Kasbah Zoo – Whatever
The pushing track „Whatever“ is a melodic tech house track with a great harmony which don’t need to hide. Effective breaks meet stomping monotonous beats and guarantee collective euphoria on the dance floors.

ICS – Exposure
The track „Exposure" is an earthy house track with an imploringly short synthie line. Its deep vocal cuts charactersize the theme and creates a warm flow.

Sascha Riot – Passion Victim

Hot off the heels of their debut EP release, the long-time friends present their second outing SOYO Dubs Vol. 2; this time round leaning heavily into their dancehall and dub sensibilities, presenting three club creations that carve out their own space with style and a no-nonsense attitude that wears its historic rave roots on its sleeve.

'Caller ID' kicks off this stellar package with an infectiously groovy dub-techno masterclass. An air-shifting bassline rumbles under shuffling hi-hats and rolling snares, whilst nostalgia evoking vocal samples echo around the brain.

ARTIST QWERKS!
1. When did you start making music?
Funny connections here. I started playing music at 8 years old. I got into DJing around 12 and so I started tinkering on FL Studio at 13. Didn’t start taking it seriously until about 19 and things didn’t really click for me until about 22. I’m almost 25 now, guess time takes it’s course.

2. What makes YOU qwerky?
Probably my music taste first and foremost. I really don’t listen to dance music despite when I make it! I’m a huge jazz kinda guy, really into J-pop (Taeko Onuki, Haruomi Hosono), leftfield singer-songwriter kinda stuff (Daniel Johnston, Laurie Anderson, Brian Wilson), strangely obsessed with The Wiggles, if I kept on writing this I wouldn’t stop. Also I’m diagnosed with Asperger’s so that helps things.

3. If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?
Daffy Duck.

4. What’s your favorite sound?
Aweminus snare, ocean, my cat meowing because I don’t think he learned how to meow as a kitten and he makes crazy noises now.

5. You’re making dinner at your house… what’s on the menu?
Unfortunately at this point, Kraft mac and cheese hahahaha. Or we’re going to chipotle, some days are easier than others.

6. Who are 3 people you’d invite? (from any time period)
Curly, Larry, and Moe.
