1. When did you start making music?
I started DJing for fun in my room and tinkering with production in 2015, stopped for a long time then the fire was reignite. I started taking this artist path seriously in March 2022 by producing in Logic for a year, and then upgrading to Ableton.

2. What makes YOU qwerky?
I was dropped as a child. Lol and I have no specific genre, especially during my sets. Although i make mostly dirty house and DnB, i just go for high energy banging music, and often use switchups and fakeouts. My favorite thing to do is make people laugh and dance at the same time. 

3. If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?
Patrick from SpongeBob cause i like to WUMMMBOOOO.

4. What’s your favorite sound?
Me like Wubs and those big fat saw wave rare growl thingZ

5. You’re making dinner at your house… what’s on the menu?
Tequila and electrolytes

1. When did you start making music? 
I grew up in a very creative family. My mom sings, my uncle was a poet, I have cousins and aunts that write music and perform. I always looked up to them And so I was a writer ever since I was little. I love slam poetry and it wasn’t until I’m met my husband where I truly started making music. I always would write random stuff for myself ever since 2017 but never really shared it with anyone except my friend that raps and Tristan. I got voice memos and notes of lyrics, but I didn’t really create my first song until 2022. 

2. What makes YOU qwerky?
The thing that makes me Qwerky.. Is that I am unapologetically myself! I truly am a weirdo, Because I don’t like to follow the norm. My normal is someone else’s different. I like to communicate with random noises and sounds, dance my way through life, and collect tiny knickknacks. It's a kind of weird that makes you feel seen though. 

3. If you were a cartoon character, who would you be? 
People tell me all the time that I remind them of SpongeBob SquarePants, probably just because of my vibrant personality and hyena style laugh lol I love that he truly is just his little sponge self and spreads good vibes everywhere he goes. 

4. What's your favorite sound?
I love drums, bangos, congas, anything with a good bass. Afrobeats / dance hall! My go to! 

5. You're making dinner at your house... what's on the menu? 
Ooo either Greek or Italian but Not gonna lie I make some good homemade pasta sauce for a gluten-free light sodium recipe, Italian pasta dinner. Maybe some veggie medley on the side. You can never go wrong with a good turkey meat sauce! 

6. Who are 3 people you'd invite?
My Husband, My Dog, Myself lol joking - honestly I’d invite any one of my Good Vibe Tribe homies or my best friends Alyssa, Chantel, or Emma <3 or like if I could chose anyone probably Doja Cat, QVEEN Herby, and Troyboi hahaha

1. When did you start making music?
I started making music in 2019 using FL Studio just for fun. It was all trial and error. Things got way more serious around 2020 when I switched to Ableton. That’s when I really started to explore sound design and carve out my own sound, especially in the house and tech house space.

2. What makes YOU qwerky?
What makes me qwerky is that I love flipping unexpected sound combos into something that just feels wrong in the right way. On our collab “Dirty Sexy,” Tristan and I played around with bass textures that felt playful but gritty, that kind of weird & fun energy is what I always chase in my own productions too. I’m obsessed with creating those moments on the dance floor where people stop, make a face, and go, “WTF was that… I love it.” If I can trigger that reaction, I know I’ve done my job.

3. If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?
I grew up on One Piece, Bleach, and Naruto, so I’d probably be some fusion of Luffy and Ichigo — a little chaotic, driven by instinct, always chasing the next adventure, and constantly leveling up. I like characters who move with purpose but aren’t afraid to get messy on the way there — kind of like how I approach music.

4. What’s your favorite sound?
I’m big on dirty basses! the kind that punch but still breathe. I love throwing reverb on my bass stabs just enough to give them space and drama. It always feels kind of epic to me, as long as the low end stays tight (gotta tame it with EQ, no muddy mixdowns allowed, lol).

5. You’re making dinner at your house… what’s on the menu?
I’m throwing down some spicy Sichuan food — definitely Mapo tofu and a big, messy hot pot situation. I love bold flavors, especially the kind that make you sweat a little and question your life choices halfway through dinner.

6. Who are 3 people you’d invite?
I’m keeping it real with a double date — bringing my girl, Tristan, and his girl. Me and Tristan cooked up some beats together, so you already know we’re eating together fosho. Good food, good people, and probably some unreleased tracks playing in the background.

What’s up?

It’s time for the mom and dad of WFHQ to step up for the first release of the new year, and between you and I, our new year’s resolution was to really, really work on our song titles.  Truly, madly, and deeply capturing the essence of the song.  And honestly pushing ourselves creatively to get to that next level. So to start, let me explain the naming of our newest single “Wassup”.

You see, we sampled a guy saying “what’s up?”, and we thought, “you know what’s a really good title for this song?”

“Wassup?”

“Yeah let’s call this one ‘Wassup’.  Because people will know it’s that song when they hear him say “wassup’”

[the crowd goes WILD].

Also there’s another song called “On Planet Z” but it doesn’t have any samples at all.  I don’t even know why it’s called that.
