We usually release instrumental tracks on Wednesdays, but since none of us will have any free time next Wednesday, here’s a "new" instruMETAL for you (yeah, we know, that wordplay sucks!).  
We put "new" in quotes because, well, it’s not really new! This is actually the closing track from "Metal Edge", our metal album, released (pretty much everywhere) on October 10, 2024. Edge of Eternity (Instrumental)

When the world happens to feel chaotic, wearing the robes - the Okesa or rakusu - of the Buddha is akin to wrapping the world with compassion and benevolence. 

The Verse of the Okesa.

Dai sai ge da pukku/ musō fuku den e/ hi bu nyorai kyo/ kō do shō shu jō

Vast is the robe of liberation 
A formless field of benefaction 
I wear the Tathāgata teaching 
Saving all sentient beings.

This verse is chanted three times after dawn meditation - dawn zazen - in Zen temples across Asia and the West. The intention is to show respect for the teachings of the Buddha, which are signified by the cloth Okesa, before wearing it.

The Okesa is a rectangular garment worn over the left shoulder. The Japanese kesa are made of patchwork (割截衣; kassetsue), composed of five, seven, nine, or more panels of fabric that are sewn together.

But we just had to drop this instrumental too (OK, to be honest, it was our nerdy keyboard player Mauro who absolutely insisted on it), a little tribute to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Commodore Amiga (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amiga)! 🎂💾
On July 23, 1985, the legendary Commodore Amiga was unveiled at New York’s Lincoln Center, with the iconic Andy Warhol as its godfather and the fantastic Debbie Harry from Blondie adding star power to the event.
The Amiga was a beast for its time: 8-bit samples, thousands of colors (32 out of 4096 at first, then 256+ with AGA), and the legendary HAM mode.
A machine that changed the game and inspired this track.

This is a very personal song to Walker, written entirely by him. The lyrics are his, and his original vocal and music idea helped shape the overall feel. I reworked the melody slightly and produced the music, aiming to stay true to the emotion behind his beautiful words. It was a real privilege to be part of bringing this to life.

This song is a combination of all of my self-inserts into one grand finale-esk of a song. Ideally a fusion of Friday Night Dustin Perseverance/Broken Reality and Greatness or Death for song structure. This song represents my mental state irl and the suffering I go through daily but I live through even with therapy and stuff. Your choice to enjoy or not. My song anyways. <3

Honest Opinion on a old situation: I honestly never speak upon the situation other than the people I have with. But I absolutely don't give a fuck if anyone doesn't like if I have elements or use the stuff from Cynical/Xynii's music (That I had always had permission to or was given.). His music was amazing no matter what. The ones that done him dirty, congrats on living in the past, I don't support any of you. So I will be grateful and credit his work unlike some people. I held away but kept my opinion formatted. I watched as those who did him wrong start getting away with all these bad things while the actual friend I care about has gotten help and turned life around with the one person who actually cared while others waited for the moment to ruin his life for no god damn reason. Have a nice day fuckers. <3
