In the latter I put Saw and Square Wave plus the Sub-Oscillator with little LFO and little Band Pass Filter. The Low Pass Filter is almost full open, the resonance O. The Chorus is switched on I. In the OB I tried to do the same adjustments.

3rd Wave - Fernab der Saettigung

Some improv noodling with some custom sounds I've made on the V-Synth (original V2 Keyboard - using only on-board effects). Showing some of the warm thick pads and unique FM sounds you can get. This is using mostly the built in VA section. 
The last sound (pad) is using a sample of a JD-990's string PCM sample (sampled into the V from the JD) on both oscs.

OB - 6 vs Juno 60 Big Strings

Comparison OB-8 vs. OB-6 with a Choir Pad. The Pad is a Mix of a Triangle and a Square Wave with Low Pass Filter, full resonance and a almost half open filter with wide envelopes (attack an release long in both envelopes).
In the OB-6 I used a LFO with a Sine-Wave to VCO2 and a high frequency. There are no effects on both synths. Also no internal FX in the OB-6.

Oberheim OB-8 vs DSI OB-6 Choir

I compared the VP-330 with the Solina String Ensemble. First is Roland VP-330, second is Arp Solina String. In the first example I didn't use Attack and Release Time, in the second I opened the filter of the VP and the crescendo level of the Solina, in the third example I used longer envelopes, in the last examples I used in the VP Human Voice also and in the Solina Contra Bass. 

No effects used. Its recommended to use a phaser, like the small stone electro harmonics.
