R.EK is back with a new EP, set to release on the renowned EINMUSIKA RECORDINGS label on March 10th, 2023.

Known for his captivating techno music, characterized by warm melodies and distinctive beats, R.EK continues this tradition with this EP.
"The Balance" is a breathtaking track, given an extra touch of special by the vocals of NATASCHA POLKÉ.
The remix by the Italian duo THOMAS SCHWARTZ & FAUSTO FANIZZA adds another dimension to the release, rounding out the tracklist.

R.EK, NATASCHA POLKÉ and the italien duo are thrilled about the new EP and looking forward to presenting it to the listeners. "I'm very proud of this EP. It was great working with NATASCHA POLKÉ and I'm happy for the remix by Thomas Schwartz and Fausto Fanizza. I hope people will love this EP as much as we do."

Diynamic Music's sister label 2DIY4 are announcing the release of a rework by one of their newest additions, Undercatt. The Italian pair recently remixed The Temper Trap’s ‘Sweet Disposition’, and managed to flip it from a once bright shining pop track into a true underground anthem with a great sense of style. It is a track you will have heard if you were at the Destino Ibiza closing when Solomun finished his set with the piece, to great receptions and big reactions.

"Vor nicht allzu langer Zeit begegnete Baba vor seinem Haus einem alten, heruntergekommenen, obdachlosen Yamaha DX-7. Alte Synthesizer aus den 80ern sind Baba sehr sympathisch, weshalb er den ziemlich verwirrten und zerkratzten Digitalpionier auf einen kleinen Jam ins seine Wohnung einlud. Seine Hoffnung, inspirierenden Klängen und aufregenden Geschichten zu lauschen, wurde nicht enttäuscht, obwohl der alte Herr auf Grund einer niemals gewechselten Batterie unter starkem Gedächtnisverlust zu leiden hatte. Einige inspirierende Fetzen dieses mehrstündigen Monologs über Italo Disco, Acid House und viele verpasste Gelegenheiten konnte Baba unbemerkt aufzeichnen und in diese kleine akustische Perle verwandeln - ein hektischer Versuch, all das Versäumte aufzuholen.“

The first notes of “Feys”, R.EK’s latest work and first single release in 2020, leave a volatile impression. The sound’s grace evokes the moment when you see a stranger’s face for the first time, when you inspect its details; cheek dimples, wrinkles on the forehead, a mysterious shade around the eyes.
With every passing second one discovers new details, striking passages taking turns with vulnerable sounds, and with every additional piece of the puzzle you’ll get closer to the core of this work. “Feys” heralds a new era for R.EK and introduces a new chapter for his label KnotenMusic—by uniting melodic techno with cinematic dramatics. In collaboration with Hannes Bieger, whose mixing adds a warm touch to the sound, R.EK is again pushing boundaries, and explores new grounds, where subtle, harmonious synthies and an enormous love for detail are paired to enable a new, distinct sound.

Spain’s Momo Khani & Meindel team together again to deliver their new summer-tinged ‘Cielo EP’, out via Déepalma Records on October 2.

After appearing on the imprint’s Ibiza mix albums twice before as well as on the label’s 100th release with their remix debut, Marbella based composers Momo Khani and Meindel are celebrating their return to Déepalma with their first original two-tracker, entitled ‘Cielo EP’.

On the one side there is “Dancing Clouds”, the tougher track in comparison, incorporating a rich variety of different digital and analog synthesizers on the ground of a hypnotizing vocal pad, letting the frequencies dance with each other to perfectly melt together for an overall ethereal result.

On the other side “Callisto”, a beautiful melodic song, loaded with dreamy synth pads and dancing arpeggios, building the frame for the two producers’ smooth signature piano sound, well known from many of their previous productions.
