Combining indie-pop with post-punk revival and elements from 90´s alternative rock Sibyl Vane´s expressive and melancholic sound gets its final grind by band´s front woman - singer-songwriter and guitarist Helena Randlaht´s recognizably unique voice and charismatic image. Their rise from Estonian music scene to border-crossing sensation in 2011 was remarkable. Their powerful and charismatic stage presence has pleased critics and audiences in different countries around Europe.

Sibyl Vane is fragile and haunting. Their musical expressions have been compared with artists like PJ Harvey, Anna Calvi, The Cranberries, Depeche Mode, Lykke Li and System Of A Down. As children of the 90s they are exploding something we all remember from MTV and sweaty rock venues we used to visit.

The trio named after Oscar Wilde’s tragic hero, started their journey in spring 2010. Local alternative rock band guitarists Heiko Leesment and Helena Randlaht founded Sibyl Vane as one-time side project. After almost accidentally winning several competitions in Estonia they earned international attention that led to signing record deal with Latvian I Love You Records in 2012. Same year the collaboration resulted in warmly welcomed debut album “Love, Holy Water & TV” and two years of album presentations over Baltics, Finland and Sweden.

JensQ is where decades of digital curiosity meet the urge to say something real.
From '80s home computer bleeps to a genre-fluid mix of ambient, trance, retro, and alt-rock — if there's a rule, it's probably been bent.

Though JensQ rarely sings personally, today's tools provide expressive and believable vocals—allowing long-buried thoughts and feelings to finally surface through lyrics. Some tracks drift gently. Others hit harder. But all of them come from somewhere honest.

There are no tours, no backstage passes. Just one person in a small studio, building sonic worlds for curious ears. Music is crafted quietly but shared loudly—reaching listeners across every continent (except Antarctica, pending confirmation from any penguin fans).
