AlteredState aka Alt. is a passionate DJ and music listener from Karachi.
Exposed to the underground music back in the golden times of early 2000s and debuted his first appearance in 2015 as an opening DJ for the country’s most respectable name Mr. Faisal Baig. From a night opener to a peak time performer his journey has been very defining, his live sets promise a swaying focus ranging from house &amp; techno and all their sub-genres. Since the past year and more Alt. is pushing daring sounds in Karachi which is an unusual swill of Leftfield House/DubTech, Minimal/DeepTech, along with the driving of Tech House and Techno respectably.

His theory of live music acts stands around the fact that live music is about journey/diversity and must advance with the constraint of time and material. Listeners respond to a different set of sounds cause of an individual’s mental capability and frequency. While in conversation with us he exclaims: “This is a special set for me cause these tunes are not very known to the ravers of Pakistan and are absolutely beyond the local crowd’s
comprehension, also it’s the first time ever I’d hand over something this much distinct in sense of scale to any music-related platform to be published for the public ears, till now I’ve always played but retained all this to my own circle but I guess it’s the right time to bring out these sounds to the public in a form of a journey for all the electronic music lovers to experience”.

We welcome him on-board for a special guest mix delivering some very unconventional music. Buckle up for a jaw clenching grind and enjoy the drive
