It was truly special to be on the road with our lovely Tippy family, traveling and performing together as crew. :)

January 18th was my first gig of 2025 in Frankfurt. It was a co-event by Rebellion der Traümer and Tanzhaus West called "Berliner Naechte". My 3rd time playing in this club and, as always, I loved every sec of it.

Sumphonie #37 - Lou Velours ෂ watt(thefuck)wanderung

Treibend und rumpelnd, schlammig und funkelnd - versumpft mit uns krüglich und lauschet dem Sumpfophon. Eine Reise beginnt, die Krüge sprießen, Äuglein schließen, Öhrchen spitzen. Der Sumpf ist unruhig, Schallwellen treiben ihr Unwesen.

Die physikalische Einheit der Leistung (P) wird in Watt angegeben. 1 Watt entspricht dabei 1 Loule pro Sekunde (1W = 1 L/s). Loule? Joule? Watt? Watt the fuck?!
Watt´los? Speaker ohne Leistung? - Wattlos!

Ist das Watt auch 1 Sumpf? Watt auch immer.
Schlicht schick sick Schlickwatt – ohne Ebbe, mit Flut, macht dieses Set ordentlich Welle! 🌊 Vergiss die Ohrenstäbchen zur Reinigung – bounce den Schmalz einfach raus, denn mit diesen Sounds braucht’s keine Watte mehr! Flächiger als das Wattenmeer – watt’n Meer aus grandiosen Tracks!

Wie dicker brauner Matsch sickert der Faschismus durch die Risse, breitet sich aus wie zäher Schleim, nicht fein, packt die Gummistiefel ein, gemeinsam, nicht einsam im Einklang antifaschistisch, feministisch, Musik wie diese verdammt wichtig - schafft Platz im Kopf und Raum für ein gemeinsames f**k blau/braun!

Während Lou Velours ihre Watt(thefuck)wanderung vollbrachte, durch den Schlick stapfte und der Matsch ihr bis zu den Knien stand, sammelte sie auf dem Weg einige dieser funkelnden Sound-Diamanten ein und schloss sie ins Herz. ✨ (btw: f**k M**z)

Like thick, brown sludge, fascism seeps through every crack, spreading like sticky, unrefined slime. Grab your rubber boots - together, not alone - and stand in antifascist, feminist harmony. Music like this is damn important; it clears space in our minds and makes room for a united f**k-blue/brown!

While Lou Velours embarked on her Wadd(thefuck)hike, wading through the sludge with mud up to her knees, she scooped up some sparkling sound diamonds and tucked them right into her heart. ✨

Sumphonie #37 - Lou Velours ෂ watt(thefuck)wanderung

Dear Sisyphos, what a blast! Even with that sunny weather and the opening of the Strand, I’m so happy so many of you danced with me this Easter Sunday morning. When @raeubermaedchen asked if I’d play during the last days of my five-week vacation, I wasn’t quite in the mood yet—I had planned to take April and May to simplify and rebuild my bloated setup. But hey, I’m bad at saying no.
So I grabbed my old setup (one last time?), mixed in some new sketches and golden oldies, and put together this rough little 90-minute set. Some parts were messy, a few transitions off, basslines a bit loose—but the energy was there, and we had fun.
Thanks to @raeubermaedchen for making things happen, @lask_aa for vocal and emotional backup, and all of you who danced with me—friends and strangers alike.
