Jan Delay - St. Pauli (12.04.2014 - live NDR Talkshow)

I exported a black-and-white image of a sierpinski triangle from Photoshop as raw data. I then opened it in Adobe Audition and saved it as a WAV. The only changes I made were spacers added to the beginning and end, as well as resampling. I tried it with a bitmap, but bitmaps do not store data in a suitable form for this.

What you hear is the image, left-to-right, row by row from top to bottom. The black parts of the triangle create a momentary click, and those are heard more and more in similar patterns.

I actually ended up stretching the image horizontally to get a better sound, but that was my basis.
