R2 is a Cape Verdean rap artist, from new bedford, Ma, who has been providing some of the best and most controversial rap lyrics to the Cape Verdean community and it's diaspora since 2003. Starting in the streets of New Bedford, he then took is talent to Portugal and back before teaming up  Sterling Soundz Carter, Zico Dapizada and others to form the group Novu Reino, who provided such hits as " Lei di Merka ", " Tchouro ", etc... After a short time off, today he is back stronger and better than ever before with this new track " D'es bes e Mi! ".
