Dos jóvenes talentos caraqueños Adonis Rivera y Oscar Quast 2014 Fue el año en que deciden formar el dúo Format 808, con el objetivo de brindarles al público electrónico un concepto musical de vanguardia, implementando sonidos que salen del esquema común, sonidos envolventes, que permiten fusionar tendencias y amplían la gama de armonías al momento de estar en el escenario. 

La pasión por la música los lleva a poner en práctica la demostración en sus Dj Set’s y producciones Musicales sonidos muy característicos, muestras de samplers traídas de las diferentes olas del House y Techno Transformadas en experimentos musicales que implican y atraen al público a un recorrido por ruidos y resonancias casi visibles.

 En el 2016 firman su primer E.P titulado “Trough the light” con la disquera Invariations (CN/VNZLA), con una mezcla de rápidos y contundentes “beats” traídos del Techno armónico y clásicos sonidos del Deep House, Obteniendo una buena aceptación en el “dancefloor” venezolano.

 No ha pasado demasiado tiempo cuando en inicios de 2017 tienen la oportunidad de formar parte en un compilado con el tema titulado “There’s no going back” de una importante disquera llamada Besworx (Cairo, Egipto), teniendo una increíble aceptación en la escena electrónica y buenas referencias de la talla de Hernan Cattaneo, entre otros.

Currently DJ Nelson’s agenda along with his manager and partner Marco "Dreamz" Matallana Jr. include a new radio show "The Flow" with DJ Nelson which aisr on Sirius XM’s “ Caliente” Radio Station Friday Nights starting at 7pm , as well as his  New Urban Radio show alongside DJ Luian "The Flow Radio Show" on Urbana 92.7 Saturday Nights from 7pm to 10pm . DJ Nelson seems to be making some major noise already for 2016 as he just struck a cross promotion deal with Monster Products , the creators of Beats by Dre.
