Galactic Groove Presents the first edition of or mix series sets. 
Here we will present Live and Dj sets from the Galactic Groove Records label artists along with some guest sets from some of our friends and favourite artists involved with other top labels in the night psy scene. 
For our very first edition we feature a new Live set from one of our rising stars on the label & dear friend "Muirakitan" .

The Muirakitan project is composed by multi-instrumentalist musician Eduardo Carvalho, who since 2008 has been acquiring knowledge in music, acting in various hardcore and metalcore bands. His first contact with electronic music was in 2014 when he founded the Psycoativo alias, as a Dj focused on nocturnal sounds. As he always performed with composition in his bands, he soon left for music production, and in 2016 the Muirakitan project was formed,  a project aimed at night lovers, focused on creating a highly psychedelic and impactful atmosphere on the dance floor, leaving everyone in a euphoric trance. who indulge in organic sounds and hypnotic melodies that promise to play with your brain.

O projeto Muirakitan é composto pelo músico multi-instrumentista Eduardo Carvalho, que desde 2008 vem adquirindo conhecimento na música, atuando em variadas bandas de hardcore e metalcore. Iniciou seu contato com a música eletrônica em 2014 quando fundou o projeto Psycoativo, projeto de Dj Set voltado para sons noturnos. This is the "VLASTUR Set Inna Sangoma Style Vol.2". Vlastur started his journey into music as a Bass player. Back in the mid-80's, he was a founding member of the Cohash Funk, an underground funky Athenian group. In 1998 alongside Frequency Freak, fellow Cohash funk guitarist and Spiris, a dubby drummer, formed "Apeuthias Syndesi" now known as Direct Connection, a dub experimental laboratory.  In 2004 he teamed up with Palyrria an ethnic-electronica band and in 2005 recorded "Methexy" with them and has played in many of their gigs. In early 2015 Parvati Recs released the EP "Parvati In Dub by Vlastur". Vlastur has co-operated with artists such Ace Ventura, Gaudi, Bombay Dub Orchestra, Irina Mikhailova, Etnica, Tengri, Jef Stott and others.

Recording of my closing set from Rituals by Blackdrop Family played from 2:00 to 3:30 pm. It was an amazing experience to play a proper freestyle ritual starting from Forest (152bpm) building up to experimental blast (180bpm)which was my 1st time playing out a a selection of fast forest-experimental tracks & I enjoyed it a lot. Recording of my twilight set from Hive-Mind-Theory by Atmik Connection & Dwell Collective played from 3 - 4:30pm It was such an amazing experience blasting a selection of night fullon/twilight tracks for the 1st time in public, and to see the crowd fill up to a full packed dancefloor enjoying my tunes was such a bliss, although many were surprised to hear me play something different than forestpsy 😅😁 massive thanks to my friends who have me an opportunity to play a special set alongside a stellar lineup.. A música marca o inicio da fusão dos projetos Noctem Vox, Coji e Sifer e de uma parceria que busca, através da experimentação, romper com rótulos e proporcionar uma experiência que transcende o senso comum. Misturar diferentes vertentes como o Hi-Tech, Dark-Psy e levadas experimentais para criar um ambiente psicodélico com muita energia e profundidade e trazer uma visão diferente acerca desse cenário musical que cresce exponencialmente. Uma abordagem nova, com a energia e melodia do Hi-Tech, ritmos e trimbrados originais, com a ambientação lisérgica que move as pistas noturnas com o intuito de criar uma nova proposta para o sentimento do high bpm. 
Três indignações entram numa dança harmonica de forma melódica e orgânica. Prontas para abstrair qualquer conceito e preocupadas em explorar o inédito e o irreverente. Quanto mais nos pegamos buscando as revoluções da vida (internas e externas), mais nos vemos quebrando paradigmas, e mais importante, transformando o caos em harmonia.
Nesta música criamos uma ambientação mais tecnológica contrastando com o som orgânico e milenar japonês. A citação de Donald Trump vem da indignação perante o cenário político internacional, onde o racismo, a xenofobia e o conservadorismo são emergentes. Assim, ironizamos a xenofobia de Trump (que vê os imigrantes e estrangeiros de forma generalizada e estereotipada)como forma de protesto contra ele e seus apoiadores. Adotamos uma estética vaporwave nessa música brincando com a ideia dos glitches caracteristicos do hitech. Além disso, o vaporwave representa uma hiperbole critica da pós modernidade, na qual todos estão centrados em si e descrentes no coletivo e no mundo, o que não podemos aceitar. Acreditamos que a música desempenha um papel social importante e assim, buscamos através dela expressar nossos sentimentos, anseios e visões de mundo.
Essa é a tradução de um sentimento explosivo e ao mesmo tempo sereno, de que HÁ de haver mudança.
Esse sentimento ecoa profundo, na musica e fora dela...

R3JAL discovered psytrance in 2016, but it wasn't until 2019 that he attended his first party in the UK, fell in love with the scene, and began attending several gatherings.

By January 2020, he had acquired CDJs and began developing his abilities behind the decks, spreading his selection of music that take one on a journey through groovy woodlands. He joined UK psytrance label Enterrec six months later and is working on his first compilation. After a year of playing around UK, he got the opportunity to join Visionary Shamanics records and currently blasts their discography of forest, dark-prog and darkpsy.

Forest psytrance is mostly played ranging from 150 to 156 bpm, with twisted, atmospheric bending, groovy basslines, and each with its own tale. When not in the forest, he plays darkprog and darkpsy with the intention of creating his own style in the future.
