J'ai commencé le DJing en 2012 en Suisse, puis professionnellement en 2014 en Belgique. J'aime créer des ambiances chill en passant par du reggae de la soul music de la funk des beats hip-hop un peu de jazzy. Puis je monte petit à petit avec de la house music. En 2016 je fais mes premiers pas dans la composition, en 2018 je produis ma musique, en 2020 je saute le pas, je la diffuse, et en 2021 je commence à masteriser mes morceaux. Je fais moi-même mes pochettes d'album et de disques. Mon univers tourne autour de beats hip-hop, une ambiance plutôt chill. Je fais essentiellement de l'instrumental soit : un mélange house, funk , ou des Beats hip-hop, Trap ou un peu jazzy avec quelques Beats africains discrets. Cela va dépendre de mon inspiration qui vient essentiellement de mes émotions que je retranscrit. Ça tient de plus en plus la route, c'est pourquoi je partage. J'ai plaisir à faire ça, je fais aussi d'autres choses comme la peinture des dessins, j'ai tout un petit univers, un petit cocon. j'ai pas envie de brûler les étapes. Je continue à travailler mes mélodies, je me donne les moyens et le reste suivra. C'est beaucoup d'investissement, de temps, d'énergie, d'argent aussi. Contente d'avoir autant de moyens qui me permettent de m'exprimer. Je vous propose quelque chose de propre et un bout de moi : Donnez-vous de l'amour, restez ouvert, curieux, aimez, innovez. La musique est une belle thérapie et dans un monde aussi mal en point, on en a bien besoin !

With an eclectic variety of projects to date, R7 has made quite a recognizable impact in electronic music. There are few genres the songwriting/vocalist duo have yet to attack with their production and remix work, sometimes pulling in outside vocalists to keep the sound fresh and experimenting with new ideas for cross genre platforms. An eccentric blend of elements combine in their original works for an unmistakable style. Their preference for big chords and melodic elements drive their belief in the power of songwriting to convey emotion as opposed to simply creating a beat.

Having established a worldwide following with releases in the US, Sweden, U.K. and Brazil, R7 are based in Austin, TX, USA. “Make Me Feel” was featured on the soundtrack for “MAY in the SUMMER,” the premier film at Sundance Film Festival 2013.  With International support from top names in electronic music, the duo continue to surprise listeners with their original ideas and forward thinking sound.
