Our good friend @diladimusic from Berlin contributed the next podcast to our series. After she has often convinced us in a smaller circle with her smooth sets, we are all the more pleased to be able to give her a platform for her sound on our channel now.

We think she has a good feeling for the right mix between dark grooves and driving elements, which gives her sets a great personal touch, which can easily be recognized. We wish you lots of fun with the next 90 minutes of downtempo music.

Musik ist eines der schönsten Dinge auf der Welt. Sie lässt einen Träumen, wirkt inspirierend oder lässt einen Tanzen. Darüber hinaus ist sie zweifelsohne ein Ventil der eigenen Gefühle. Ein Medium um das innere nach außen zu richten. Ein Mittel das einem hilft negative Gefühle zu verarbeiten. Und das Beste: Sie verbindet Menschen jedweger Kultur und lässt somit äußere Grenzen verschwinden lassen. 

Ein bemerkenswertes Beispiel ist die Freundschaft und das musikalische Zusammenspiel zwischen der Mexikanerin R3NATA und der Freiburgerin Marie Theresia von Eberg. Für KennreInnen der Szene mit Sicherheit keine Unbekannten mehr. Schließlich sind beide sehr gefragt, wie ihre Reisen innerhalb und außerhalb der Republik belegen. Kein Wunder, schließlich gehört ihr Sound definitiv zu dieser Stile, welches wir gerne in Clubs oder Festival hören möchten. Aber mal ehrlich, wer kann bei diesem bouncy, bassigen und verspielten Klängen schon ruhig sitzen bleiben? Wir mit Sicherheit nicht. 
Also, lasst uns entgegen des Aufrufes am Anfang des Mixes doch einfach ein Wohnzimmertänzchen wagen 😊 

Der Mix nimmt nämlich direkt nach dem Intro erstmal richtig Fahrt auf und schiebt ohne Umwege eindrucksvoll an. Ein Banger-Track folgt dem anderen. Dazu technisch sehr fluide gemixt, welches noch einmal die konstant hohe Energie von einem zum anderen Lied mühelos transportiert. Hier und da streuen die beiden aber auch melodische und verträumte Passagen mit ein und runden das Ganze mit diesem atmosphärischen Closing-Track am Ende harmonisch ab. Eskalieren können wir schließlich immer noch auf dem Dancefloor.

• Was sind deine musikalischen Einflüsse? Was ist dein musikalischer Hintergrund?

R3NATA: Zählt das Schlagzeugspielen in der High School?

Marie: Ja, zählt :). Bei mir haben 10 Jahren Geigenunterricht für das Mitwirken im Schulorchester auf jeden Fall dazu geführt, dass ich mich viele Jahre nicht getraut habe, musikalisch wieder selbst aktiv zu werden. I did not like it”!

• Was macht deiner Meinung nach eine gute Afterhour aus?

R3NATA: Nette Leute, Freunde, gemütliche Clubs und alles unter 103bpm :p

Marie: Das, was Renata sagt, aber vor allem auch die Fähigkeit aller Beteiligten, nach Hause zu gehen, wenn es reicht.

• Welche Gedanken mögt ihr uns zu eurem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?

R3NATA: Ich liebs, dass wir die Tracks des jeweils anderen lieben.

Marie: Der Austausch für diesen Podcast mit Renata war sehr inspirierend für mich, weil ich viele der Produzenten ihrer Tracks vorher nicht kannte und so ein Mix entstanden ist, den ich so nie alleine gestaltet hätte und trotzdem zu 100 Prozent liebe. DANKE!

Das war intensiv, in jeglicher Hinsicht. 
Genau wie letztes Jahr ist die Zeit auf der Insel geradezu verflogen. 

Geballte Schönheit der Natur gepaart mit Kunst und Detailliebe. Mehr kann man sich nicht von einem Festival erträumen. Kombiniert mit dem letzten Sommerwochenende, den entsprechenden Temperaturen und tollen Menschen kann das nur zu wenig Schlaf führen ;) 

Wir sind stolz auf die Menschen dahinter. In so kurzer Zeit solch eine Professionalität hervorzubringen, ist wirklich beachtlich. Was da wohl noch kommt ... 

Es war uns ein wahres Privileg, Teil davon sein zu dürfen und wir sind unendlich dankbar für euer Vertrauen in unsere Musik. Danke!
Schon im Vorfeld haben wir uns viele Gedanken gemacht, wie wir diesen Opening Slot am Samstag um 14 Uhr nutzen würden. Dabei hat auch die Wetterprognose eine entscheidende Rolle gespielt ;) Heiße Temperaturen, von Null das Ganze hochfahren, nicht übertreiben, aber gute Energie mitgeben ... So in etwa war unser Anspruch. Insofern senden wir nochmal ein großes Dankeschön an alle Tanzenden, die der Hitze trotzten. Wir haben die Energie und das Set trotz Schlafmangel sehr genossen. Dabei hat natürlich auch diese massive Anlage einen großen Teil beigesteuert. 

Großen Dank auch nochmal an JaMoll für die super angenehme Artist Care.

It was intense in every sense of the word. 
Just like last year, the time on the island just flew by. 

The concentrated beauty of nature paired with art and attention to detail. You couldn't dream of more from a festival. Combined with the last summer weekend, the corresponding temperatures and great people, this can only lead to little sleep ;) 

We are proud of the people behind it. To produce such professionalism in such a short time is truly remarkable. I wonder what's still to come ... 

It was a real privilege for us to be a part of this, and we are infinitely grateful for your trust in our music.

We gave a lot of thought beforehand to how we would use this opening slot on Saturday at 2pm. The weather forecast also played a decisive role in this ;) 
Hot temperatures, starting from zero, not overdoing it, but providing good energy ... That was more or less our aim. In this respect, we would like to send a big thank you to all the dancers who braved the heat. We really enjoyed the energy and the set despite the lack of sleep. Of course, the massive sound system also played a big part in this.  

Big thanks also to JaMoll for the super pleasant artist care.

Było intensywnie pod każdym względem. 
Podobnie jak w zeszłym roku, czas na wyspie po prostu zleciał. 

Skoncentrowane piękno natury połączone ze sztuką i dbałością o szczegóły. Więcej od festiwalu nie można było sobie wymarzyć. W połączeniu z ostatnim letnim weekendem, odpowiednimi temperaturami i wspaniałymi ludźmi, może to prowadzić tylko do małej ilości snu ;) 

Jesteśmy dumni z ludzi, którzy za tym stoją. Stworzenie takiego profesjonalizmu w tak krótkim czasie jest naprawdę niezwykłe. Zastanawiam się, co jeszcze przed nami... 

Bycie częścią tego projektu było dla nas prawdziwym przywilejem i jesteśmy niezmiernie wdzięczni za zaufanie, jakim obdarzyliście naszą muzykę.
Długo zastanawialiśmy się nad tym, jak wykorzystać ten slot w sobotę o drugiej po południu. Prognoza pogody również odegrała w tym decydującą rolę ;) Gorące temperatury, start od zera, bez przesady, ale z dobrą energią... Mniej więcej taki był nasz cel. W związku z tym chcielibyśmy bardzo podziękować wszystkim tancerzom, którzy stawili czoła upałowi. Naprawdę cieszyliśmy się energią i setem pomimo braku snu. Oczywiście ogromną rolę odegrało tu również potężne nagłośnienie.  

Jeszcze raz wielkie podziękowania dla JaMoll za super miłą opiekę nad artystami.

Zweisamt - Opening Mystic Ground Saturday || Mystic Creatures Festival 2024

Um das große Finale der Festivalsaison gebührend zu feiern sind lauter Herzensmenschen auf der mystischen Insel zusammengekommen. Nach einer der schönsten & intensivsten Nächte meines Lebens bin ich Sonntag Mittag in den sonnigen Freaky Forest geschlendert. Und dann hab ich mich getraut einfach mal zu zocken was mich grade am meisten bewegt. Ohne darüber nachzudenken wie das wohl ankommt, egal was von mir erwartet wird, egal wie gut die Vibes zueinander passen, egal wieviele Tracks zum mitsingen nacheinander kommen. Und es war ein Riesen Spaß diese bunte Tüte mit euch zu genießen. Ich bin lange nichtmehr so befreit und voller Freude durch die Booth gehüpft. Ihr strahlenden Tanzmäuse wart ein Traum✨
Ich hoffe ich vergesse nie wie ihr mit Händen in der Luft, zwischen Nebel und von der Sonne geküsst, mitsingend durch den freaky Forest hüpft 💜

To celebrate the big finale of the festival season in style, a whole bunch of people close to my heart came together on the mystical island. After one of the most beautiful & intense nights of my life, I strolled into the sunny Freaky Forest on Sunday lunchtime. And then I dared to just play what moved me the most at the moment. Without thinking about how it would be received, no matter what was expected of me, no matter how well the vibes matched, no matter how many tracks to sing along to. And it was great fun to enjoy this colorful mix with you. It's been a long time since I've bounced so freely and joyfully through the booth. You glowing dancing mice were a dream✨
I hope I never forget how you jumped through the freaky forest with your hands in the air, between the fog and kissed by the sun, singing along 💜

We have been following Valentina aka diladï and VALE for several years now. Her style and performance have convinced us since the first meeting. Not only does she know how to create a wonderfully dense sound experience on the floor, but she also trumps with her performance behind the decks. It's fun to watch her play. You can tell that she loves to mix and that she literally merges with the audience and the music. That's why we are so excited to finally welcome her to our series. 

She has unpacked her alter ego diladï. Her slower side is tailor-made for our series and heralds a wonderful sound experience right from the start. Melodic, dreamy and with lots of hypnotic synths, she takes the listener by the hand and transports him directly into another world. Great tracks are waiting for us that flow into each other like pearls on a string. From time to time she presses the accelerator a little harder. But the sensual Valentina appears again and again. Wow! The seconds and minutes fly by. To realize again and again that music is simply the most beautiful thing in the world. It evokes feelings and invites you to dream.

✔️ What is your musical background?
 
Early on as a kid I started learning to play the piano, the guitar and also to sing. This continued into my teenage years - later then I also sang in choirs and had individual concerts with bands. As a teenager, my interest switched from mainly indie and alternative music to electronic music; Berlin was definitely very influential and still is today.

✔️ In your opinion, what makes a good afterhour?

When you just don't want to go to sleep and completely lose your sense of time and space.

✔️ What thoughts would you like to share with us about your mix?

This set it less bouncy than usual, I would say, and definitely slower, with a range from 105-108 bpm. With the music I chose this time, I'm exposing a more dreamy and melancholic side of mine. Nevertheless not wanting to lose the drive..
