Ed Buryn has some 'Social Exercises' in his great book (Vagabonding in America, 1976). This is No.4: "When meeting new people, and the conversation is lagging, ask people questions about themselves. Don't talk about yourself and your trip, except in answer to direct questions. Then steer the conversation back to them. After all, it's them you should be interested in anyway (you've already heard about yourself), and people do like to talk about themselves best. Really."
I made this wise advice the source for the lyrics of my tune.

"Alchemy of Life" is a tribute to Maria Skłodowska-Curie, who was one of the few people in the world to win two Nobel Prizes in two different fields: physics and chemistry. The piece captures the extraordinary passion and determination of this scientist, who was unafraid to face dangers in the name of progress. It reminds us that every step in science, although it can lead to great discoveries, carries risks, even mortal ones. Despite this, Maria Skłodowska-Curie constantly strived to expand the frontiers of knowledge, aware of the dangers her research posed. The piece highlights both her genius and her courage and dedication to science. It reminds us that science, while fraught with challenges, is also a passion that drives humanity forward. It is a tribute to her legacy, which continues to inspire future generations of scientists.

Alchemy of Life

I wrote and composed this Country Rock song a while back about my dog (best friend) but didn't have a country artist to sing it at the time.  This is the second collaboration with Aether Flux Lewis (Luther Lewis) and I hope everyone enjoys it.  And of course it has my rock style infused in this song lol.
