What it do peeps? As the United Kingdom roll’s out of its lockdown like a sunburnt drunk from a Magaluf sun lounger, the DJ’s amongst us are left bewildered to the state of our careers, when and if gig life returns back to normality. 

It’s at this stage Roast Beatz who has been working tirelessly to build his label Cuttin’ It Fine, has decided to shift some focus onto the hard graft he’s been putting in streaming during our spell inside. 

Every Monday without fail, Mr Beatz hopped on the ones and twos to bring the masses the latest and greatest from hip hop to funk, mid tempo breaks to house, disco to drum and bass and everything in between.

This one-hour mix contains: Tracks, mixes, cuts and blends previously seen live on Twitch by the faithful and fresh Monday gang. It contains his own work, tracks only available via Patreons, live remixes, scratches, doubles and a whole lot of passion. So, please listen on as you’ll probably hear something new!

SOLSTICE | PART II- Winter’s Bone

The winter solstice brings dramatic landscapes of cold and dark, and a time of poetic reflections. With the evocative, dramatic light of Winter, we find our spirits lifted and warmed by the bittersweet beauty of love, in spite of the chill. The title Winter’s Bone is derived from the movie, however here more as an evocative character combining both the sensation of cold and shades of white, the bone showing our barest, most honest form. As such I hope this piece tells a story of longing, melancholy and hope…

About this EP:
Almanecer is a portal, a mystical metaphor for the concept of "Birth of the Soul", an awakening to consciousness through sound harmonies and frequencies on a very special journey. A treasure that will give endless beauty and peace to whoever takes the time to discover it.
In a new collaboration between the creative energies of the great artist @minashankha, bringing a unique magic with her almost heavenly voice, plus the talented and eclectic producer @hajnafr, prolific creator of big releases for Cosmovision Records and more. Both artists from France with a passion for the sounds of global folklore and electronic music, today they come together again to sculpt a meaningful musical piece full of soul and love for music.
The EP consists of 3 original songs which is enriched with 4 remixes full of musical synchrony that explore the most electronic sounds as well as the ideas most linked to Latin American folklore by figures such as DVNIEL, Manu Ela, Intiche and Atemporal.

'A1 - Universal Space Ride' delivers a monster, a driving club cut that meanders within light and darkness and will get bodies moving on the floor. I wasn't originally intending on releasing this mix, because I'm an insane perfectionist. I put together my favourite parts from this set and created a mix for Pretty Lights The Hot Sh!T with the intention that I would only be releasing one major mix this fall. Throughout this series, we will be raising support and awareness for various non-profit organizations around the country. This episode's featured charitable organization is Seven Mile, a group focused on providing music, art, creative writing, and computer science resources to Detroit's underserved communities.
