Playground is releasing a very special compilation to celebrate nine years of life. A musical journey shared with dear friends, which expresses the living history of the label from its origins to the present. From the first illegal raves in Buenos Aires, to becoming an international artist's platform based in Barcelona. A long process of learning, growth and consolidation have passed. Nowadays, with an extensive catalog of more than 40 references Playground has a solid story to tell, always selecting an eclectic criterion and betting on diversity. Each launch reaffirms the commitment with an aesthetic freedom beyond any label.

The '9 Years Compilation' faithfully expresses our history, but above all our present, always with an eye looking to the future. 15 new original tracks carefully chosen to create a polychromatic musical adventure, with diverse nuances and intensities. From downtempo songs to listen at home, through music inspired by the new wave, the creative force of the jungle, the power of organic elements and psychedelic experimentation to the most convincing music for the club.

Berlin-based Ombra International love all things post-punk and Italo disco, and they continue to represent that fusion in style on their 21st release. First up HLM brings a heavy wash of synths to 'En Ecailles' before Tony Y Not get into a twanging new wave vibe on 'How About Lily'. Kimshies has a sleazier sound to offer up, while Rees pushes all manner of vintage arpeggios at the behest of 'Lucifer's Tango'. That leaves it to Endrik Schroeder to finish the set with the atmospheric 'Rainy Days', a perfect tribute to washed out 80s post-punk with a strong dose of disco pumping in its veins.

The charismatic duo K.O.D @pitti_schmitti and @Kovvalsky has been running his own club night K.O.D (Committee Ebrony  Disco), where we had the pleasure of sharing a night together, at the famous club in Warsaw, Jasna 1, with an Italo Moderni showcase that was very top  night! All the atmosphere from there was magic and behind these nights is to offer something new and exciting to a scene overly saturated with generic techno. Jedrzej and Pitti also host a radio show called 'Jasna 1 Presents' at Newonce radio - one of the most influential media platforms in Poland. Let's enjoy the week with a great mix by our friends from Warsaw! :)
