The message of this song is speaking directly to the ongoing dynamic between my inspired action and my own resistance.  This only happens:  ALL. THE. TIME.  (Maybe ya’ll can relate too ;)

In the space between Inspired Action and Resistance is a CHOICE to either stay focused on our big visions and to do the good works of our day (STAY CHEFFIN’) , OR -  to fuck off and well…..Go Fish….

All forms of art, greatness, and growth are supposed to challenge us to rise to new heights and discover new versions of ourselves……it’s just built into the process…

And, the versions of ourselves that meet and rise to the challenges presented are the ones I want to see most in the world - and so, I’m a stay cheffin’!! 

The beat of this track was fully inspired by the London on da Track & G-Eazy song “Throw Fits” – I heard this song and was inspired to throw my own twist on it – full RSPKT to that mighty collab!!

For me, this song holds a certain truth that could only be accessed and expressed once I let down my guard long enough to fully be with the emotions of Letting Go…

It is my hope that this song can be of a healing nature to others on their paths of that which they are letting go of.  

At times, it can be a difficult place to get to, but the natural cycles of all relationships have their way of changing and it’s my hope that a form of grace can be present in the process…

This song is my offering to that state of grace I value so deeply.  I hope it can serve others in the same capacity.

This is the first song of mine where I am just singing.
No raps.
No flash.
Nothing but the rawness and truth of my experience.

I hope it can serve as a great ally on your ever-evolving paths my friends.

This is the first song from the Tap the Flow 24 project called Thundering Heart featuring Ra.be 333, Marya Stark, and Tyson Leonard of TROPO.

Tap the Flow 24 is an ongoing project where I, Ra.be, collaborate with musicians and videographers and in a 24 hour period we conceive of, create, and complete a song and video. 

100% of the proceeds from these projects go to Generosity.org. which is a non-profit / for purpose organization that implements sustainable water systems globally to those in greatest need.

The inspiration for this project came from recognizing that I have a bottomless resource of creativity as well as a wide creative community and together our collective resources can directly benefit our global community’s need for our most precious resource, water.

I strongly believe in extending our resources to the needs of others to thrive as a global community. This ongoing project is a positive step in this direction.

This situation symbolizes the mentality that cash, oil, and big business are able to destroy that which is sacred and that which threatens the future generations and the well being of our earth – in the name of profit.

This song was inspired by the recent unprecidented spikes in the earth's elctromagnetic field  which is measured through the Schumann Resonance.  I see these spikes as a strong mirror for what is happening in our collective consciousness as we awaken to this critical point in time that we are all in.

My message is to bring awareness of what's going on and how we as Artists, Visionaries, and Leaders have the opportunity to SPEAK UP and let our voices be strong as we create the world we want to Create.
