As You Like It, like all of you, has gone on full lockdown. All of our shows over the coming several months have been cancelled or postponed to an undetermined date. However, in the coming days, we will release a series of podcasts and interviews as planned before COVID-19, supporting and showcasing local artists that were scheduled to be on the bills. 

We know that it’s a trying time for everyone’s finances and especially for the nightlife community who rely on the box office to cover expenses. It will be a mix on the verge of house music occasionally influenced by minimal elements and atmospheric dub techno. House, the genre he likes from his early age, is closest to his heart. He´s not focusing only on one genre only, though. He likes to play also techno and lately he´s experimenting with broken beats or dubstep, he likes UK sound also. He calls himself nerd - he enjoys the study of history of dance music and it´s development to today´s form and it´s classification. He also says that there´s a little disco dancer in everyone, who should get loose from time to time...

House, který má rád od malička, je jeho srdci nejblíže. Nedrží se však jednoho stylu. Rád zahraje i techno a poslední dobou experimentuje s lámanými beaty nebo dubstepem, má rád i UK sound. Říká o sobě, že je nerd - vyžívá se ve studování historie taneční hudby a jejího vývoje až do dnešní podoby a její klasifikaci. A také to, že v každém se nachází malý disco tanečník, který by se měl jednou za čas vyřádit...

Epoché is a Prague-based DJ who started DJing two years ago. He was noticed by the Prague’s underground community around the club Ankali. The club’s techno musical culture influenced him pretty much, and two outstanding labels, Harmony Rec. and Hypnus Records, from the deep and hypnotic techno genre, clearly drove him to polish his own musical techno style. With friends, he founded the Organizovany Plevel collective and his musical direction turned to the industrial and proto/electro genre. During the Covid-19 pandemy, he and his collective took part in the Virtual Healing which was a platform for collectives streaming their own events. He played at the Underdogs club, the Rush Festival and the Seismic in Prague. Now Epoché is focusing on bringing some good techno and electro juice.
