I am a classically trained french composer of screen and concert music and sound designer. My scores cover a range of genres from orchestral or chamber music to electronic and popular styles.

Loo(p)cy is a project by Italian multi-instrumentalist Lucia Caiazza. She began studying classical piano then she fell in love with  electric guitar, becoming a rock guitarist and singer during her teenage years and beyond.  During the  last 8 years, Loo(p)cy has released 11 albums, alone and collaborating with other musicians.  Her style has evolved into electronics, noise, post rock with oniric soundscapes.

Otan is interested in the imperfect nuances ( human and circuits ) which can be surprising when using analogue gear like a modular in a live situation.

Counter Culture, not following the mainstream, the masses, its like a revolution against the perfect product ! 


Everything in our world is perfectly manufactured that there is some beauty in the unexpected and analog . The unexpected and new becomes beautiful ! 

The goal is to create some interesting experimental music, which is counter culture to computer assisted music creation . Therefore all songs are live improvisations. What you hear is what you get. Enjoy.

The tracks on here represent a mix of my ambient, electro-acoustic, experimental, soundscaping and electronic works.

The music is created on a variety of hardware and software synthesizers using Ableton 
Live for recording. Field recorded sounds are frequently added to the mix and much of the sound is heavily processed with an array of effects. 

The majority of the tracks are fairly ambient in nature and explore experimental soundscapes, but occasionally the urge to create something more beat driven, rhythmic and downright noisy takes over!

The music is inspired by the random daily events that life throws at you, landscapes, environment, atmosphere, astronomy, geology, past cultures, or just the indefinable need to make music.

I am always interested in collaborative projects with other musicians, sound artists, female vocalists and any poetry writers who would like to vocalise their works over an ambient or experimental music background, so do get in contact if you like what you hear.
