Contrails (Snippet of an Original Composition)

Cornucopia is a story of a person who is still processing a recent trauma. As he walks the roads by himself, he comes across a town that is celebrating a festival in full swing. This composition is about the imbalance between the internal feelings that he is still processing (represented by the strings) and the external celebrations (represented by the woodwinds). There’s a cornucopia of joy and festivity around him but how he struggles to balance the internal and external is the theme of this track.

Cornucopia (An original composition)

Crayons and Cavalry is the story of a person who has a long day at work and has to fight many battles on a daily basis but the moment he gets home, he has a very excited and playful dog and child waiting for him. Now, this person instantly transforms into a very colorful and cheerful personality and begins playing with his child and dog. There are certain sad undertones in the song that also indicate the imbalance between his life outside and inside.

Crayons And Cavalry (An original composition)

A Clown's Mask is my attempt at writing a very theatrical piece along the lines of a Stravinsky ballet. The scene begins with a clown dancing on stage entertaining the audience and showing off his many tricks. Midway through the performance, his mask falls off much to his chagrin and the shock of the audience. The clown's ugly, scarred face is seen for the first time and the crowd is confused if he is a villain or a buffoon. He goes through an identity crisis during the performance and tries to trick them, fighting the situation all in a mix of anger and embarrassment. When he has lost all hope of getting the audience to like the performer in him, he gives up trying to pretend to be anything and just surrenders to the situation - however, the audience suddenly perceives this transformation (without any pretense or show) as something beautiful towards the end of the song.

A Clown's Mask (An original composition)

Fences and Contrails is a theatrical progressive track from the album "Wrong Side Out". The structure of this song is that of a therapy session where an adult recollects a traumatic event from the past and tries to make sense of the present-day angst. Contrails represent the things that a person has left behind and "fences" represents all the environmental factors that forced a young kid to leave everyone and everything he loved behind.
