Columbia são quatro amigos que viraram amigos por causa da paixão pela música: Fred, Filipi, Bruno e Fernanda se conheceram na cena indie-rock carioca do início dos anos 2000 e decidiram fazer suas próprias canções.

O som da banda tem como maiores influências o pop/rock de artistas como U2 e Radiohead e o BRock de bandas como Paralamas do Sucesso, Los Hermanos e Legião Urbana. Essas referências ganham nova roupagem sob o viés feminino dos vocais de Fernanda, e letras em português que abordam temas como relacionamentos e o cotidiano.

Músico e produtor musical de Fortaleza-CE. Iniciou sua carreira nos Comparsas da Vivenda, lançou três álbuns e tem colaborações com nomes como Marcelo Jeneci, Tiago Araripe , Silvero Pereira, Lorena Nunes, Clau Aniz, entre outros. Ouça o novo álbum Pontes de Vidro EP.01 e EP.02!

NÚMEROS MUSICAIS

Em 2008, a OCO lançou seu primeiro álbum, que levava o nome da banda. Com ele, foi indicada ao Prêmio da Música Brasileira (2009) e ao Grammy Latino (2010). O Globo elegeu o show da turnê de lançamento o Melhor Show do Ano (2008). Em 2012,lançou “Pra Ficar”. Logo no show de lançamento, 15 mil pessoas lotaram a Praça do Carmo (Olinda). No primeiro mês após o lançamento, 10 mil downloads. Quase 15 mil pessoas na fan page da Orquestra, no
Facebook. R$ 350 mil em mídia espontânea. A Orquestra Contemporânea de Olinda faz música que conversa com o Brasil. Disco e show indicados pelo New York Times

OCO:: ORQUESTRA CONTEMPORÂNEA DE OLINDA

Orquestra Contemporânea de Olinda (OCO) from the meeting between the traditional musicians of frevo from Grêmio Musical Henrique Dias (since 1954) and expressive names of the new generation of musicians from Pernambuco (Northeast Brazil), after Manguebeat. In five years of existence, the band has received a lot of attention. 

In 2008, the OCO released its first album that was named after the band. For it, the OCO was nominated for the Brazilian Music Awards (2009) and the Latin Grammy (2010). O Globo chose the launching tour show the Best Show of the Year (2008). Album and show recommended by the New York Times. In 2012, the OCO released "Pra Ficar", produced by Arto Lindsay (USA). 

At the release show, the Carmo Square (Olinda) was crowded by 15,000 fans. In the first month after the launch, 10,000 downloads. Almost 16,000 people at the Orquestra’s Facebook Page. $400,000 in the spontaneous media. The Orquestra Contemporânea de Olinda makes music that talks to Brazil.
