Here's my attempt in "Symphonic Rock" using a free String Plugin (DSK Overture). Guitars are all "Maybach Lester" Model, my new favorite.
I had a hard time finding a title for this track. Until I played it to my friend Marcus. He immediately said that he sees mountains, highlands etc. I finally found my title :-)

I composed “Introspection” in 2003 when I was quite a newbie in computer music. But this composition has always been very special to me. The title “Introspection” is not due to chance, I called it like that because I poured all my feelings in it. 
Nearly 20 years have passed, quite a life, and I think – I hope – I have improved in computer music, composition, mixing and mastering. And I think it is now time to decide that my new “Introspection” is finished, as far as it can be. Maybe from my point of view it is a never ending story, maybe I will make a new version in 20 years, but I think it is time to share it with you today.
