She’s a singer, songwriter, pianist &amp; a self-taught guitarist who writes simply with her heart. Composing acoustic/pop ballads that speak directly to your soul, Sydney based Rachel Eldon truly makes music that makes a difference. And at just 20 years of age she is already spreading her music across the world to Los Angles, USA where she has been selected to sing and represent Australia!
Rachel entered a video of her song “You don’t even see” (which can be seen on YouTube) into the 15th World Championships of Performing Arts, which is held in Los Angeles, California every year. Rachel was successfully selected to represent Team Australia for 2011 and will be making her way over on the 10th July for 2 weeks. Participants from around 50 countries will be performing at this prestigious event and Rachel is aiming to take home the 2011 Grand Champion Award to make her country proud!
Ever since she touched they keys of her father’s grand piano at the age of 13, Rachel began writing songs filled with spine thrilling melodies and raw &amp; emotional lyrics. Backed with Rachel's soothing vocals, it’s a mixture that instantly warms your heart and sends a wave of goose bumps through your body.
Through years of hard work and an undeniable passion for what she does, Rachel has developed an admirable headstrong attitude, a down to earth soul and perseverance that will blow your mindall of it evident in the way she performs and connects with her audiences. She also has a deep passion for charity work, volunteering regularly in Cambodia to teach English and ,of course, Music!
Not only can Rachel compose and perform her own songs - she has also mastered a wide range of covers and an exciting set list she performs at various venues around Sydney.
